Fog Dude
Coventry City 2-0 Swindon Town *sigh* The away side's late comeback sort of served you right there really, didn't it? Anyhow, here's the now standard mini-update with the table link before the full write-up in a couple of days' time. Not that there'll be much more to say, as it was an extraordinarily ordinary round. Fog Dude
It wasn't ordinary for me. I actually had my best week in ages JUST when I needed it. That's partly what I meant by 'ordinary', actually. The leader was top scorer and the only participant into double figures, while the player who was already last (sivy) was lowest scorer with a big fat nothing. What could be a more standard week than that? As you point out, the gap at the top had been gradually narrowed over the past month or two, but now it's back to a whopping 15 points. It'll take something special to overhaul that. That said, with 3 D2Ds to come, as well as an international round, the Easter double and a bumper final day, it's far from unthinkable. So why so many relatively low scores? Nobody else got more than 2 exact scores for starters, and also the lack of draws didn't help. Only the stalemate in Sunday night's match bucked the trend, but since most had picked a winner in that one, even it didn't prove fruitful.
