Here's the table for now, which I updated during that Punk/Rock snoozefest this morning, so unsurprisingly I fell asleep before I could link it here. Full write-up coming up tomorrow night, with any luck. At least, that's my intention at the moment. We'll see about getting back to posting the card at a reasonable time soon too.

So, a poor week all round then. Only top scorer Rory made it into double figures, which was enough to solidify his grip on 3rd place. The old tactic of mainly picking the home side by the odd goal reaped its rewards this time out, being especially helpful in the Hull-Charlton fixture which was by far the most productive of the 10. Back to the standings though, and the gap at the top is down to just 7 points while there's no change at the other end, but if the current bottom 2 are giving up, sivy is next in line for the wooden spoon and is 11 points adrift of the next worst player right now. Despite nobody covering themselves in glory, there was lots of insignificant movement in the middle, partly involving this week's lowest scorers going down a spot or two.

To the matches again then, and apart from the aforementioned mundane outcome at the KC Stadium, the other results did not prove fruitful. Nobody correctly guessed the exact scoreline at 5 goalfests: those at Anfield, St Andrews, Selhurst Park, Blundell Park (though a few came close in that instance - curse the Mariners' late strikes!) and the one in Florence. It was just Rory once more who managed three points from the Roma-Juve meeting, while the Arsenal defeat, added to the card at the last minute, turned out to be a complete dud. No-one even so much as thought the Gunners would be taken back to Ewood Park for a replay, but kudos to those who at least foresaw that the away side would score and it'd be close.

On the other hand, the remaining two FA Cup ties that were included were somewhat useful for many participants, with lots getting a point from one or both of them. It's another cup competition that's the focus of our attention this coming weekend though, and that'll be first up in a new thread which should appear in a few moments.
