So it appears I've switched to the new version of Photobucket after all, which does seem to offer a clearer view of the table, but on the minus side, it does mean changing the link slightly every week. It was updated early yesterday, but until I get round to doing these write-ups I guess there's no way for anyone else to know how to find it. Oh, and before that, the final scores were up in the original post promptly on Sunday night.

Pretty low scoring again this time out then. TUFCfan consolidates second place as the only participant into double figures and closes the gap at the top to 15 points. Lawz's deficit at the other end is one point smaller than that after the person he's trying to catch, sivy, could only manage 2 points and a joint lowest scorer performance (along with SNRN10) in this round.

Why the poor showing all round? First of all, wins on the road for Sunderland, and even moreso for Reading, caught a lot of players out on Saturday, though home wins for Swansea and Wolfsburg did prove more fruitful, while the widely foreseen draw at Upton Park yielded a lot of points. Later that evening, Dortmund were victorious at Werder Bremen as many expected, but nobody was going to get the exact score. If anything, 0-5 seemed more likely at Real Sociedad early on as Barcelona went two up in San Sebastian and it looked like business as usual. However, the Basque side came back to triumph 3-2 and hand the Catalans their first domestic (and the only competitive one in any competition bar that night in Glasgow).

Real Madrid were able to take full advantage the following day at Valencia, the club that's finished 3rd the past few seasons, and again this was a useful scoreline but not considered as universally likely as a Bar
