Going to Japan - Help Me make a Noah Show!

Hey guys,

I m heading to Japan for 3 weeks to see herself and plan to go see a wrestling show.

The Noah show on March 31st in Korakuen Hall in Tokyo seems to suit me so might hit that up.

http://www.noah.co.jp/tour_detail.php?tour_id=1116

Had a few questions for those of you who went to shows in Japan.

How much generally do they cost? 50-70?

The Tokyo show on March 31st, should tickets go on sale soon? Would they sell out fast?

Do they do any meet and greets before hand or can you get special tickets with bonus bits like posters etc?

What are merch tables like? Plenty for sale? Looking to get lots.

Can you buy tickets in advance? Herself reckons Lawsons shop normally sells event tickets so be great if they sold em

Thanks for any help or tips

I unfortunately have not been to Japan yet, so Air Raid, Sixteen Degrees and TysonSL would offer a lot more help but:

NOAH is struggling right now, even at Korakeun Hall so unfortunately there's no risk of them selling out so you should be safe in getting a seat.

I know there are stores and the venue itself that sell tickets in advance. The three above will assist better in that.

Merch stalls appear to always be packed with stuff and I've always seen wrestlers out after the show lined up as fans are leaving on video.

Once I move there, I'll hate you a bit for getting to see.... no, I probably won't.

Unless WWE finally... nah, that's never happening.

I can't say any more than air_raid, but just to confirm that I had no problem buying tickets on the day from the venue, as I was a bit scared of the vending machines. I've seen NJPW, Dragon Gate and NOAH there and the set up is similar for each. There was a tonne of merch for sale before and after the show and there was a limited number of wrestlers out during the interval who had no problem posing for photos etc.

I agree that you should make a day of it. If I remember correctly there were a number of decent rides there too if you're in to that sort of thing.

Westerners get treated great there and they will make you feel welcome and help out wherever they can. I'm envious and would go back in a heartbeat.

Edit to say that I'd go for the cheapest tickets, as there didn't seem to be a bad view in the building

This is true. When the Wave people spotted me in the queue for tickets they grabbed me immediately and helped me sort out my ticket, thrust a camera in my face and interviewed me about all things wrestling (and the Olympics) and introduced me to a girl whose main responsibility seemed to be to give me a pre-interview and post-interview hug.

Gaspanic in Roppongi is a must for any reasonably tall Caucasian male that isn't a complete uggo.

Or has a "Herself." But yeah, "meat market" is the phrase, if you're a tosser. I didn't really go there on the pull, it was just somewhere to go after the football. Plus I was in the presence of the then JWP Openweight Champion Hailey Hatred, and she's quite the presence.

Is the NJPW shop still open around there? If so, it was only a few minutes walk from the Korakuen.

I bought a ticket to a G1 show a few years back, and also got it on the day, in the ticket office on the ground floor. I have a sweet hand drawn map that a guy drew to show me where the NJPW shop was, and they also escorted me directly to my seat for the show. Kojima was also signing stuff after the show by the main merch part, so many post-show you may see some wrestlers milling about.
