Tag Team Match:

Notorious B.a.D v. The Island Brothers

The Futureshock pairing of Sam Bailey and Sean Daniels, collectively known as Notorious B.A.D debut at Back With A Bang against stiff competition.

The Island Brothers, Tabu and Rio left a trial of broken bodies throughout 2012, most notably, former Tag Team Champions The Mystics and FIVE members of Track & Field. They, and manager Simon R. Valour were last seen making a play for reigning Tag Champs, The Killers as they made their intentions clear on what they want in 2013. However, Notorious B.A.D, who have gained quite the following in Futureshock after impressive performances come to GPW to stand in their way. Can Notorious B.A.D be the first team to defeat The Island Brothers? Or will Bailey and Daniels be two more names destroyed at the start of another dominant year for the Island Brothers?

More matches coming throughout this week!

Great to see Matt getting chances with other Promotions other then NGW. Anyone whose yet to see Myers in action will not be disappointed thats for sure. Myers in my view could well be the breakout star if not this year then next year for sure, He certainly is one to watch.

From The Vault:Back With A Bang 2006

The first "Back With A Bang" got off to a rather unusual start with Dirk Feelgood having a birthday party in the ring, he was joined by Bubblegum and then by a clown!! Events took a rather sinister turn when the clown revealed he was actually Johnny Phere in disguise!! SIN had crashed Feelgood's birthday party which took us into the first match.

Joey Hayes def Bubblegum

This was the first time these two ever went one on one and was a great way to kick off GPW's third year. It was only the start of an epic rivalry which continues to this day. In fact, Hayes and Bubblegum would go on to face off the following month in a triple threat match, were the last two in the first ever Rumble match and later closed the year when Bubblegum defeated Hayes to win the first Crazy Cruiser 8 tournament in November.

The Geeks (Rupert Holmes and Elroy Doogle) def The MilAnfield Connection (Danny Hope and Jiggy Walker)

The next match featured another first, the first time Danny Hope and Jiggy Walker teamed up in the continuation of a rivalry that began in 2005. A pre Professor Mike Holmes also made his first appearance as the referee for this match and afterwards Jiggy challenged Mike to a match at the next show. The MilAnfield Connection would go on to win the GPW Tag Team Trophy and in the process become the longest reigning tag team champions in GPW history.

Ruffneck def Ice XV11

Two of GPW's then toughest compettitors did battle and Ruffneck came out the winner but the always controversial character still had a part to play.

Sabotage def Demo

Sabotage had declared war on the Cruiserweights the year previous and issued an open challenge saying the match could only end via pinfall albeit to a count of five rather then three.

British Championship Match

"Dangerous" Damon Leigh def Alex Shane

Since then he has gone on to become NGW Champion and having stellar matches with Nathan Cruz, El Ligero, Rampage Brown & Mark Haskins.

Here's one in an 18+ environment with Cruz:
