Paid Members Dead Mike Posted April 15, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted April 15, 2013 Aah, fair play then, that's reassuring. The way it sounded was like it was getting buried on the US equivalent of ITV4 or something. Good stuff.
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted April 15, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted April 15, 2013 isnt FX abit of a Fox offshoot channel as well though? i imagine the new look of the show will stay the same.
Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted April 15, 2013 Author Paid Members Share Posted April 15, 2013 Yeah FOX own FX. Â The only (admittedly petty) gripe I have with this FOX Sports 1 channel is the fight nights on there, like the Boston show in August, are going to get silly names-wise. We'll soon be seeing events called UFC on FOX Sports 1 1, UFC on FOX Sports 1 2 and so on. UFC on FOX Sports 1 11. See what I mean? Bit of a stupid complaint I know, but shit like that bugs me. Â It ain't a stupid complaint at all Wand. The UFC really should put their heads together and think up something creative for these new events. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted April 15, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted April 15, 2013 why does it even have to have a name at all? UFC Live: Fighter A vs. Fighter B. will do nicely. Actually i say bring back proper event names like Fully Loaded and Battle on the Bayou  Gabriel Gonzaga's camp is filing a claim against the Travis Browne defeat...and rightfully so. Â Interesting, would it be ruled a no-contest if the athletic commission (I'm assuming that's who'll review it?) deem the elbows illegal?
METAL ON METAL
I think Gonzaga would get the disqualification win actually, well if the Jones/Hamill fight is anything to go by - but you know how inconsistent the Nevada Satate Athletic Commission can be. Paid Members Egg Shen Posted April 15, 2013 Paid Members Share Posted April 15, 2013 nah, i don't think they can overturn it to a DQ win...it'll be a No Contest if they do anything i think.
