1SinN6
Zack Ryder took a real stinkface from Festus. If you can't say no to that, how is he ever gonna be a good pro-wrestler looking out for his own behalf? Â Sounds like a test to me. Weed out the marks from the people with sense who are there wanting to make the moolah. Â By that logic Ryder should have been sent packing instead of being put on TV, shared some spotlight with Edge, held the tag belts, allowed a second chance and won the US title, been involved in Cena's storyline last year and all the rest, for being a mark. Â But that is what they do to you if you are not careful, they use you (if Ryders case his youtubefame), they squeeze some money from you and you have WWE failure written all over you so you can never go anywhere and make an impact. Â Dolph has the money in the bank briefcase, but if he's quit now and go to TNA, he's a nobody. Those kind of guys are only something IN the WWE and I guess thats the way WWE likes it. Paid Members Devon Malcolm Posted December 6, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted December 6, 2012 Is Diego Maradona making his Argentinian team have a game of Barearse after training prior to the World Cup degrading then? This could just be childish hi-jinx to be honest. Â I dunno. Â This is pro wrestling though. It's a business that has form for fucking with people who want to get into it and generally condoning behavior that would be considered sociopathic in any normal context. Â I don't really understand why you're taking such massive issue with this whole incident, to be honest. It's not even clear from that picture exactly what is going on. You're getting arsey over several presumptions and not much more.
Allstar69
howay man fucking hell when you train together all the time you have laughs and jokes. Some of the shit that has gone down in changing rooms before and after ice hockey games or practice people thrown out naked in to halls all sorts of pranks ive been involved in. Could be one of them things bunch of guys been stupid it does happen
CavemanLynn
Regardless of the general frat-boy stupidity on show in this incident, the one thing I take issue with here, as somebody else here has already highlighted, is that these trainees are being offered stupid 'challenges' in order to NOT train, and worse, they are actually taking these challenges to purposefully AVOID training. I'm sorry, but if I were getting paid to follow my dream, I'd be using every moment in the gym to get better. If my trainer told me if I could slam a bag 40 times in 4 minutes there'd be no training that day, I'd tell him to start the clock, then go and stretch for 5 minutes, then come back and tell him to start training me. It may be carny, but there are still standards of professionalism and decency that should be adhered to in any workplace. By all means, once you've made your name, fxxx about all you like. No wonder so many young talents don't seem to give a damn.
Allstar69
it might not happen all the time and how do you know how hard they train, That could of been after a hard month of training you dont know. No matter how much you want something you cant be serious all the time sometimes a good coach will do daft games to break up the monotony of the same drills cos not matter how much you want something you cant always do the same training it needs switched up every so often

Brilliant. What thread was it where other people were doing the "I am the hardest, hardest-working and most noble man in the world and this is what I would do in the situation" gimmick? Was it something to do with getting mugged?

Was it something to do with getting mugged? Â The one about dealing with a burglar was class, as was that one about using wrestling moves in fights. A laugh a minute. Â Any way I'm tiring to recall one entertaining Hugh Morris match, and I can't. Â His match with Konnan, which was so bad it's up there with the worst matches ever committed to film and made worse by the fact they both go for what feels like an hour and are clearly fucked after about 3 minutes, seems etched in my brain for being so bad, but not one mildly entertaining moment. There must be one, no man can produce absolutely nothing of note over such a time frame can they? Â There must be some out there, get some links in people. Moderators PowerButchi Posted December 6, 2012 Moderators Share Posted December 6, 2012 I liked him in MIA. But I liked MIA. It's not aged fantastically though.
Dr.PeterVenkman
His US title matches with Lance Storm were good, He was over and Storm and Team Canada had heat so it made for some good matches, given the fans didn't care about most of the roster it made their feud stand out a bit more  Alternatively, it might just be Major Gunns at ringside in that maple leaf bikini that makes me remember their matches fondly
Paid Members Tommy! Posted December 6, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted December 6, 2012 I liked him in MIA. But I liked MIA. It's not aged fantastically though. Â oh yes, how could I forget. I liked MIA as a whole and it made me give a shit about Lash LeRoux, which says something. Morris was still the shits from what I recall, but at least its something. Â G.I. Bro was god awful though, booker was better than that group of tossers. Mind he wasn't about for long was he, isn't it just GAB 2000 he turns up on a zip wire from the roof and then quick as a flash he's booker again. Booker had some shit in this time frame, what with Big T and all. Â Like many a good mid card faction MIA stuck a load of wank together to make them an entertaining part of the show, which I think is why I love RTC. It's not even clear from that picture exactly what is going on. You're getting arsey over several presumptions and not much more. Â I just believe that folks should be able to do go about their business without people fucking with them. The wrestling business seems to have a tolerance for cunty behavior such as Bradshaw soaping up dudes in the shower, Chris Benoit throwing people out the locker-rooms and other such nonsense. When someone raises issue with this type of tom-foolery the basic gist of the defense seems to be that normal standards of decent behavior don't apply. That pro-wrestling is a special case where if you have tenure you're allowed to act like a colossal cunt. I think that's bullshit. Don't get me wrong, I'm not lying awake at night fretting over the plight of bullied pro wrestlers. It's just that I think that we should all make a effort to be nice to one another.
