Easy ones who can replace him for me, however i replaced one of their names with Kenneth Cameron and i can still see his profile even though it isn't listed.

Back to the All Star circuit for Cameron then by the looks of it.

After a spell at the Fed's pleasure I would have thought. Can't imagine battery of a law enforcement officer leading to anything other than some time inside.

While I liked the fact that the tag team had a name, matching gear and a nice bunch of double-team moves (all good stuff for rebuilding the tag division) I can't say I'll be upset if The Ascension are binned now. They were corny as fuck.

The Undertaker is the only person on the roster who comes even close to "getting away with" spooky stuff and the supernatural. Even Kane has ditched all that silliness in favour of pretty much just playing the character of an odd, but dangerous bloke. The Ascension's entrance was a mixture between impressive ideas and hilarious unintentional comedy; the epic music and lighting was fine, but the two of them gurning and shouting like morons was very silly. As was whichever one of them had the Wayne's World light in the palm of their hand ("I'm the Leprechaun...") that they'd hold up to their chin. Silly, silly, silly.

The funniest thing they used to do was when there would be an interview or something at ringside and they'd suddenly appear in a little window somewhere in the background, gurning and growling at people, all dressed up in their pleather robes with their little lights. Proper 80s-tastic gimmick.

All of that is why I thought they were brilliant :(

Haha, nice.

In fairness, I'd have loved everything about their gimmick when I was about 13, and the way the WWF was then they'd have fit in nicely. But it just seems so out of place with everything else these days that it stood out like a sore thumb. The last time Kane did anything supernatural it was a comedy bin-exploding skit during his and Bryan's therapy, and that's how "spooky" stuff should be in wrestling - obviously silly and tongue-in-cheek, not all Super-Serial and evil.

Bye.

The WWE has confirmed that Tom Latimer, who wrestled as Kenneth Cameron of the Ascension tag team, has been released following his arrest on 11/22 in St. Petersburg.

Latimer was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer and disorderly intoxication in the arrest.

There are easily more people that could join in The Ascension...it would be a shame to see a decent gimmick like that go to waste. Maybe Corey Graves or even Kassius Ohno?

Anyway I did always like Kenneth Cameron from watching NXT but he's properly fucked now, he already had a DUI before so he's royally boned. Jail time even?

What a moron. These guys who spend years trying to catch the attention of a major fed, finally make a bit of progress, then fuck it up with drink/drugs or generally being a tit. Florida seems to be a curse for developmental guys, hasn't there been loads of DUI related arrests over the years down there?
