I like your huge walls of text on here. Do a podcast if you must, but not at the expense of your posts here!
Paid Members marc2j Posted September 12, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 12, 2017 Can i just second the love for BomberPat's posts? Always informative, always interesting. I'd listen to a podcast :-)
Paid Members Egg Shen Posted September 21, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 21, 2017 noticed a ton of Bobby Heenan tribute podcasts going up, anyone recommend any?
CTXRussomark
Terry Funk is hilarious on the latest Lawler podcast. Tries to stay in character for the whole thing Ā (he and Lawler are facing each other in some 6 man tag soon) but there's a part where they're talking about Hall of Fame'sĀ and Funk seems genuinely surprised to hear he's in the WWE HOF.Ā I've also started listening to a new podcast with Neil Pruitt who's a former WCW producer and more famously the voice of the nWo paid advertisements. It's a bit dry but it talks about the production side of specific angles and shows. Interesting stuff if you're into that sort of thing.Ā
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted September 22, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 22, 2017 I had no idea Lawler had a podcast. Generally, is it any good?
Ambulance Chaser
Lawler's is one of my regular weekly listens. He had he Doctor on who worked on him with his heart attack the other week, I found it fascinating. He also did about 3 shows on the Kaufman deal in Memphis. I could listen to Lawler read the phonebook to be honest though.
Paid Members BomberPat Posted September 22, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 22, 2017 Oooh, might have to check out the Kaufman ones, in which case. I don't really have much interest in Lawler in the WWE, but could listen to old Memphis stories for hours. Anything come up in those episodes that maybe hasn't been too widely discussed elsewhere? Paid Members Egg Shen Posted September 22, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 22, 2017 i favorited Lawler's but haven't got around to listening to it. I think he said from the start he wanted to touch on parts of his career and subjects that don't usually get brought up.
Paid Members tiger_rick Posted September 22, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 22, 2017 Now I've worked out how to download it (http://dinnerwiththeking.libsyn.com/rss), I've just picked two Lawler shows to have a listen to. The #3 discussng Heel Vince in Memphis and #25 with Bret. Also downloaded the Neal Pruitt one on Colin's say so. Interesting concept. It's called Secrets Of WCW Nitro. http://wcwmondaynitropodcast.libsyn.com/rss

It's generally very good and a really easy listen.Ā Most shows are around the 1hr mark and Lawler comes across as really genuine with a really good memory.Ā The Kaufman episodes mentioned above were particularly great.Ā Would definitely recommend those. Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted September 22, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 22, 2017 I'll need to add the Lawler podcast to my weekly list. BTW, Cena is on the E&C podcast, this week. It's a good listen. Cena (and E&C) goes into quite a bit of detail on why so many of the current mob are failing to connect with us. Clearly not a fan of a chunk of the roster. He gives his take on the Reigns feud too.
Paid Members mim731 Posted September 26, 2017 Paid Members Share Posted September 26, 2017 @Liam O'RourkeĀ Is SCG on a hiatus? Or are there plans for more shows in the near future? Working my way back through the archive, but quickly running out of shows to listen to.Ā
