This Jesse fellow isn't half bad is he? Big, muscular, and seems very comfortable in the ring, with bags of personality.

He reminds me a lot of someone else when they first turned up in wrestling a young John Cena. I'm not saying he'll be WWE champ one day, but he's got that look about him.

EDIT: Wikipedia say he's 5 foot 10, but he's taller than that isn't he?

Agreed.

Y'know who's surprisingly not shit? Jesse, Tara's boyfriend. Great look, pretty solid in-ring work, doesn't do loads of "moves", milks for reactions a lot, sells like a pro, works the camera, quite charismatic - I think he could be a sleeper hit. Could be TNA's Mizanin.

His jumping Stunner finish is quite clever too - if there's one thing that could get heel heat, it's a pretty boy doing a hard bastard's famous finisher in a really poncey way.

I think I read your comment and then subconsciously forgot about it, sorry Bomber.

I was quite surprised to see him use the Stunner, didn't like the way he set it up but I admire the bollocks of choosing it!

No need to apologise, was just quoting because I agree and it's quicker than typing it all out again.

I liked the set-up, only because it makes him look like a proper tit when he jumps - it's exactly the way I'd imagine a reality TV guy would subvert a much-loved finisher.

I'm excited to see Aries vs Bully, with the roles reversed but to throw in the Brooke Hogan love triangle element? Terrible. Its not like there's another terrible love angle going on anywhere else is it?

Is there? The WWE one is more like the Claire Lynch angle. In fact its exactly like the Claire Lynch angle, from the set up, to them getting into an elevator, to the hotel room and all that other shite.

Exactly, and that was pretty awesome wasn't it? The fact remains TNA are sticking arguably two of TNA's best performers (2012 at least, arguably) and throwing them in a feud involving an 'affair' type deal. Wether you draw similarities between AJ/Cena, to Claire Lynch or back to this tripe, its all the same and its all shite.

But yes, they've played out the AJ/Cena thing for weeks and they finally kissed on TV, so I'd count that.

I'm enjoying the love triangle/ expose with Hogan, Bully and Aries. It's just so trashy with Bully sticking it in Brooke and I'm like Yassss mon yerself Bully! And I also love that Aries is exposing it to get under the skin of Hulk. Pure Jerry Springer trashy tv I love.

Sam Shaw vs. Alex Silva.

I think this may be my personal hell.

Who?

Edit: just seen they're mentioned in the notes. Never heard of either of them!

That's exactly what I thought , anyone have any info ?

They're both former gut-check winners, as someone else has mentioned. I've already seen this match on youtube and it was pretty bad, the type of thing you'd expect to see as a mid-card match on an indy show, not on Impact. Saying that Sam Shaw put on an OK performance, he pulled off some decent spots and has quite a good look about him. If given the right push he could have a pretty decent run in TNA

I enjoyed IMPACT this week. Nothing special by any means but a pretty enjoyable show. I really like the way Gallows presents himself he really does look the part. Which for me makes the stinky aces and eights storyline slightly enjoyable.

Garrett Bischoff is absolutely shocking, awful.

I hated seeing Hernandez + Morgan in a feud again. Even with the variation of Joey Ryan and Chavo I just don't want to see it.

Good to see no James Storm. Not sure what they can do with him so would like him off tv for a while.

No Anderson and RVD, always good news.

Christian York was great but I cringed seeing him do a Twist Of Fate.

Anyway I hope they plan something big for the TV Tapings over here in January

So am I the only one not unhappy at the thought of Styles & Daniels putting on what will probably be another MOTYC like all of their other ppv matches?

Yes ... for me it's always a pleasure seing that botched Springboard Backflip Reverse DDT from AJ Styles while hearing Mike Tenay saying that's the most fluent wrestling move he has ever seen.
