GalaxyV.2
Didn't he? It looked like he did. Have you actually watched it? He wasn't scratching his nose and hit him by accident, like. He went for him. Â Think you should see what I said in the context it was said in.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted October 9, 2012 Author Paid Members Share Posted October 9, 2012 Any defense of this is ridiculous. Also, WWE put Punk in the crowd. Nobody rushed the ring. If had WWE taken the correct measures to protect their fans when putting a wrestler in the crowd during an angle, WWE is at fault if a wrestler is dumb enough to start swinging his hands. Has anyone seen a wrestler go in the crowd before? DDP used to get shoved all over, have his hair pulled and all sorts. Its not hard to ignore. Just call them a cunt and get security to throw them out. Â I wish life was like how some people are justifying it. Life would be so much better if you can smack someone in the face and then say "sorry I meant to do that to someone else". But it isn't. And "t-shirts and tickets to an event" would work if he spilled coke on a fans t-shirt. Not when TMZ is reporting that the fan is pressing charges. Richie Freebird
It was only a love tap any ways. He barely even caught him. Â Anyways, I never open Raw threads, but hearing stuff mentioned elsewhere had me curious. This sounds like an eventful and well received show, I might try to catch a replay. Guy Bifkin
WWE should send him back to the bush league from whence he came and put the title on someone with muscles.
Vamp
This is the first RAW I've watched in ages. It was a decent enough show. Although I was amused at how believable it was that Vince could probably beat the shit out of CM Punk. They should chuck the belt on Ryback or Santino. Â And yeah, the WWE and Punk are in the wrong for the fan situation. WWE are in the wrong for not creating a safe environment for fans. Punk's in the wrong for being a fucking moron who hit somebody on live television. That's hardly towing the company line. I mean how hard is it to move down a few steps? I don't really get Punk. There's a Pillman vibe about him in that you don't know if he's genuinely mental or playing it. He genuinely seems to have grievances with his push in the company and yet at the same time he's a hot headed moron with a rubbish look who's held the company to ransom and recieves some fantastic opportunities. They'd have probably given up on other people by now. Â Edit: Although he is a fairly good heel, I'll give him that.
Paid Members ColinBollocks Posted October 9, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted October 9, 2012 On that subject, Guy, anybody else think they'll do a Ryback/Lesnar match? If Ryback wins the title I can see them going that way, Ryback ruining Heyman's plans so Heyman calls in his monster. A Ryback win will be massive for the bloke, they've certainly got something the fans are getting into (which doesn't happen much these days). Moderators neil Posted October 9, 2012 Moderators Share Posted October 9, 2012 I loved it. I love it when heel wrestlers hit wrestling fans. Especially wrestling fans who are hastily putting on their sunglasses so they can look like Neo on national tv.

He should accept the honour of being slapped and do a Youtube blog about it and his sunglasses.

AndyUK
Really good show, I thought. Take away the Larry King segment and I thought it had everything you'd want from a wrestling show. The Punk/Vince match and segment afterwards was great. The crowd were very hot for it all and it was the sort of thing that RAW has been missing recently. Â Was very surprised by how physical Vince got, especially considering it was reported that he wasn't supposed to take anymore bumps a while back. He was fantastic, especially for a man of his age. He makes everything that he's involved in a lot better and I really wish he'd just be the permanent authority figure. Â As for the incident with the fan, Punk was totally in the wrong and you've got to feel for the guy that ended up getting smacked when he did fuck all. Punk deserves to be punished without a doubt because you just cannot do that. Why some idiots think that it's alright to to try and push and shove wrestlers down the stairs whilst they are in the crowd is another matter though. I think Vince's appeal is related to how sporadically he appears now. It wouldn't be as good if he was on every week. Be better than AJ, mind. They were probably just patting him on the back, not realising how weedy he is for a wrestler.
