WAW GOLDEN ROAD

Big changes to the Golden Road league.

Jody Fleisch has contacted WAW offices to state he feels due to other obligations, he would not be available for any league matches for quite a while.

Rather than keeping the fans waiting to see a winner, Jody has decided to withdraw from the competition.

However, as he has now withdrawn from the league and has not currently competed, he will be eligible to be voted for by the fans into the 4 way match for the vacant RQW Cruiserweight Championship at a later date!

We'd like to thank Jody Fleisch for being upfront about this issue and thinking of our loyal WAW fans first.

The other change to the league involves TJ Daniels. Since he walked out on Alex Young in their WAW British Tag Team defense over a month ago, we have not been able to contact him.

As we have repeatedly tried without success, we have no option but to withdraw him for the league as well.

TJ had only wrestled one match in the Golden Road league against Peter Nixon in November 2012. This unfortunately means that this win is now removed from Peter Nixon's results and he drops down to 7th place as a result.

So 10 men become 8! Still lots of exciting matches left to happen in the league which is now in it's 6th month.

Updated after Epic Studios result, Jonny Storm and Alex Young are now joint 1st place and after the elimination from the tournament of TJ Daniels and Jody Fleisch, Peter Nixon now has no chance of winning the tournament as if he even wins his last match he will finnish on 3 points, so now its down to 7, whos gonna win?

Updated after Academy show a couple of months back where Alex Young roared into the lead again and after Epic Studios where Kidd Lykos picks up his first set of points while Jonny Storm experiences his first loss!

With only 13 matches left in the league will be interesting to see some o the British/European picks for the Final 4!
