Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted October 8, 2012 Author Paid Members Share Posted October 8, 2012 The Nexus wrestlers weren't under masks for 3 months. If a bunch of unmasked nobodies attacked Kurt Angle and Sting, they would be a big deal because its new faces establishing themselves as a threat.. But they are teasing a reveal and the ones doing the attacking is Wes Brisco, Mike Knox, Luke Gallows, Jay Bradley and D'Lo Brown. Imagine if after 3 months of beating up Cena, Orton and the Undertaker, the Nexus took their masks off and it was a bunch of blokes from FCW? Â Can't see it being Hogan, unless they really panic and feel they need a big name to be revealed as the leader. Hogan's just turned face last year. Sting already looks like a spanner if Bully turns on him, he's going to look an even bigger one if his best mate turns as well.

However, they could do it from scratch, provided they were then booked to be dominant and not just an after thought. The tension and the interest, is 'supposed' to be in finding out who these guys are. The reveal will undoubtedly stop some people going crazy because they want to know who they are and instead of buying into it they will shrug their shoulders, go 'meh' and walk away from the angle, whoever it is. It doesn't necessarily have to be a huge name guy to do it. TNA have been quite good at raising their 'own' talent, So not completely beyond the realms of possibility. Â Â EDIT: Can't see it being Hogan, unless they really panic and feel they need a big name to be revealed as the leader. Hogan's just turned face last year. Sting already looks like a spanner if Bully turns on him, he's going to look an even bigger one if his best mate turns as well. Â Who knows? It's part of the mystery, which is kinda the whole point of it.
Mr_Danger
I was convinced it would be Hogan and The Bisch but now I'm not so sure. The only thing that makes me think Hogan is gonna swerve (other than the bad guy stubble) is that he's not wrestling in the match at BFG.
Guest
Could it be sting who turns? All signs elsewhere in the match, he's only one not being questioned

For some reason it seemed so far out that it must be true.
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted October 8, 2012 Author Paid Members Share Posted October 8, 2012 They've gave him several good kickings and kidnapped him. This all started with them attacking Sting. Sting can't be a heel anyway. They've tried. Fans don't ever believe it. If Sting turned, it would be done just to swerve people. And it would contradict the whole angle. Â Also its his Hall of Fame weekend. Would be daft to turn him.

Paid Members tiger_rick Posted October 8, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted October 8, 2012 If RUsso was booking, it'd probably be some madcap swerve but TNA seem to have learned these days. Sometimes obvious is good. Sometimes people will pop for something because they didn't see it coming. Sometimes they'll pop because they knew exactly what was coming. Â I just don't see Bully as a biker. That's my only issue with it. It doesn't fit. Bisch is a good shout. What's he up to these days?
Loki
For what it's worth, it was definitely Bischoff playing the President of the Club. Even the voice effect couldn't mask his diction. Whether it ends up being him or not ultimately though, I'm not sure, as quite a few randoms have played members under the masks over the past few months. Vamp
Sting already looks like a spanner if Bully turns on him, he's going to look an even bigger one if his best mate turns as well. Â Sting's always been a spanner. That's virtually his gimmick, lovely bloke who trusts everyone, goes a bit mental when he gets betrayed, loves everyone again, goes a bit mental again, and so on and so on. Â I reckon it's Luger. Luger always betrays Sting.

Instead of motorbikes, if Aces and Eights ride to the ring on mobility scooters, you might be right there.

Luger always betrays Sting. Â See, I always got the impression, from the little I've seen of Sting overall, that he was portrayed as one of the smarter guys who never fell for the most obvious tricks the villains would pull. Prime example for me would be when Elizabeth was his valet against Team Package Luger (I think), she attempted to turn on him with a can of mace and a baseball bat; he'd given her a "replacement" can which he said was stronger, but turned out to be silly string, and another baseball bat, which turned out to be made of foam - thus making him not only look smarter for knowing she'd turn, but also for manipulating her into thinking he didn't know. Â He also seems to be able to deal with blindsides on a more frequent basis than most other face wrestlers.
