Old David
Very disappointed! You have Zack Sabre Jr on 4FW at long last (possibly the best young wrestler in Britain) and instead of a wrestling masterclass against the likes of Owen Phoenix or Prince Devitt, we have yet another tag match where poor Benham Ali gets to play the only "heel" --- again. Presumably you don't intend to waste Zack as a villain do you?Are we to get another repeat of recent Doug Williams and Jinsei Shinzaki appearances, where fed up with evil Benham both men eventually turned on him, or do you have something more original in mind? Come on 4FW surely you can do better than that?Benham Ali is your brand new Junior Heavyweight Champion, can't you find anyone worthwhile for him to defend his title against? Come on 4FW surely you can do better than that?Benham Ali is your brand new Junior Heavyweight Champion, can't you find anyone worthwhile for him to defend his title against?I will not make a habit of defending my decisions in my new position however:- Zack Sabre Jr in the LDRS are revered as the best team in the UK. Sabre is a tag team specialist.- I wanted to see Sabre and Devitt go at it- I wanted to see Behnam and Devitt go at it- I wanted to see Phoenix and Sabre go at it- Owen and Behnam always deliver - Prince Devitt's tag team work in Japan is awe-inspiringWhen Sabre Jr and Devitt were signed by me I wanted to make the most of them and get Behnam/Owen experience with world class talent. This, I feel, is the best utilisation of talent at my disposal. If I could have guaranteed all men would return immediately, I would have made Sabre/Owen and Devitt/Ali however the international schedules of all 4 means I had to act in the best interests of the company. Were Devitt to have defeated Ali for the belt say, I could not have confirmed his return to defend it.

AshC
As I see it, the majority of the local Swindon crowd won't know Sabre. They will know Devitt from the last time he wrestled there, but that's quite possibly it. The 'Internet' crowd that 4FW endeavours to attract meanwhile will be aware of the Sabre vs Devitt singles match promoted last year (on the high-profile NWA Hammerlock Andre Baker memorial show). I know a fair few travelled just for that match. Would they do so again for Swindon? Possibly... but by integrating those guys with the 4FW guys, you're getting a match that hasn't been done anywhere before, and quite possibly won't be again. You're getting guys who've been regularly working for three notable Japanese promotions in a single match, which could garner interest over there. You're giving your homegrown talent more big match experience and presenting them as equals, which is important as Zack and Fergal are not going to be there every show - whereas Ali and Phoenix are going to have to help carry shows. Moreover, you're separating 4FW from the pack of interchangeable 'dream match' promotions who bring in guys to face each other, with no real benefit to their own brand or guys in the long-term.I realise that Ali and Phoenix have been in a lot of tag bouts on these big Swindon shows. But if this is part of the re-educating process that makes tag matches as much of a staple of events as singles bouts in this particular promotion, than that's another benefit going forward as it's not overly common over here.Finally... I want to see Ali vs Devitt. I want to see how good an Ali vs Phoenix match would be in 2013, compared to 2011 when it was tremendous. I want to see Phoenix trying to evade a Sabre pasting. This match has all of that, and whets the appetite for more down the line.

cobystag
You already had me sold on the first tag match, but that match isn't to be sniffed at either. I am interested to see who else is going to be on this show to join Devitt and who they would face with that tag match already loaded with four of the best juniors. Jason Larusso would be a good shout.
4FWpromoter
Could be Larusso, but we are awaiting to see if a young lad is able to debut, if he does he could jump straight in with any International talent straight from his debut, no words can describe how good this young lad is, we'll see on that, or we have the option of another youngster who was set to debut in January but because of issues on Saturday he made his debut then, his name is Saime Sahin, he is that talented at a ridiculously young age he could jump straight in with International talent also. I could big these lads up all day long but I assure you, you will never see 2 youngsters as talented as these, i'd say they eclipse Owen and Behnam as the 2 hottest prospects to come through the school, we already have plans in place for them to head to Japan.
