Enjoyed the show but thought the opening segment felt a bit weird. What was with Heyman pulling out an eyemask for a close up that had the NFL badge on it, shameless product placement?

The NFL is using replacement officials as the proper NFL officials couldn't reach an agreement with the league. The replacement officials are fucking awful and from High School Football and stuff.

Ahhhh, makes a lot more sense now and it's actually quite funny. Cheers.

Just watched RAW and it had a few good moments on it but it also had a lot of silliness.

Pretty much anything involving AJ is utter shit. Why they made her GM i'll never know she is the worst actress I have ever seen she literally chews the scenery every time she is on screen and makes HBK's performances look subtle and full of nuance.

And I might be in the minority here but this whole Bryan/Kane angle is painfully unfunny and takes up way too much air time even on a 3 hour show.

Punk was on form and so was Heyman (Nice to see punk wearing a Cro-Mags shirt rather than peddling his latest shirt.....been a while since you saw someone wearing a band shirt in a big fed)

Don't know where this RYBACK storyline is going though. I know he just beat the Miz in a squash (devaluing him and the IC in the process) but surely they can't be pushing him into the title scene as I can't see him beating punk and it seems like a premature way to end his streak

Had to fast forward most of the Lawler interview he looked a bit fucked and i found it depressing

That same hbk who is widely regarded as one of the most compelling in ring performers of all time who can get you buying into pretty much everything he does?

No i meant the HBK that over sells every emotion in a very theatrical fashion.

Did you see his turn as guest ref during the Taker/HHH at Mania? The guy overacted all the way through it I mean watch it again, his "I'm so torn" face that he wore for 90% of the match was so painful.

He might be a great wrestler but the guy overacts something rotten, like the Raw where Lesnar broke his arm at the end, for some inexplicable reason he acted like a frail old man all episode, not that he simply showed some weakness he acted full on scared and meek probably trying to drum up some sympathy for the upcoming arm break and displayed the kind of acting chops you usually see in a porno

Or he acted like a man who hasn't wrestled in over a year and is terrified of an ass kicking machine, who had already broken the arm of his best friend.

Had AJ "literally" chewed the scenery every time she was on screen then i might agree with you. AJ has been gold the past few months and it made perfect sense to put her in the GM role as she was involved heavily with three of the top stars on Raw. She also brings something fresh to the GM role, instead of the same old Heel boss holds down Face talent story.

Was pleasantly surprised by Foley. It's nice to see him find a bit of the old magic. When i first heard about him maybe having a programme with Ambrose i was sceptical but now i'm a little disappointed it got canned.

AJ has been very, very shit and overacts horribly, but Stormy 'Idiot' Weathers is still using words without knowing what they mean. He should literally walk in front of a bus.

Best three hour Raw yet, for me. Punk was on good form, so was Foley. Kane and Bryan were top notch again. The pointless Smackdown tag had an interesting element in Ricardo. The ending with Ryback was unexpected and has me intrigued for next week. I even didn't mind the latest round of Kofi vs Ziggler. Great little match. But let's not do it again until they've both had some proper storylines and character development.

I dont mind ryback but his gimmick is to much of a goldberg rip off to me. Everytime he is the ring a section (sometimes big sometimes small) piss all over him by chanting goldberg. Whether big all small it always happens. I think the younger generation will take to him cause maybe they dont know goldberg, but for me who loved goldberg in wcw i cannot see past the fact that ryback is too much like him.

Has goldberg ever mentioned anything about ryback via twitter/facebook etc ? Last time i heard goldberg was when he was having a cyber war with crimson from tna.

Really liked the ending to Raw this week, Punks expression was spot on and the whole slow reveal of the camera turning was great. If this means that Ryback jumps straight to the main event scene and stays there for a while then it really doesent devalue the IC title and Miz at all IMO, as the IC title has always been a stepping stone. Ryback just jumped over it very quickly without having to win the belt.

Having JR back at commentary has been brilliant as well. Hes been in top form as far as I'm concerened and makes every one else look so much better around him.

Daniel Bryan and Kane are just gold at the minute, I'm hoping we eventually get a "team entrance" with them fighting over whose music they use etc... The matches between them after they split should be great as well.

Agreed it boggles the mind why if they have someone of JR caliber employed they only use him for NXT he should have been back doing the play by play on Raw long ago

Also, something to note about Monday's show was how well Punk did to stop the "CM Punk" chants. There were quite a few being started in the opening segment and I thought it was going to be one of those shit crowds that cheered the heel and ruined the feel of the show but he shut them up quite quickly, good on him.

Thought Ryback was ace in his whole segment with Miz and crowd seemed to be into him. So the lack of reaction to the big reveal at the end was disappointing. It was a great idea. And the crowd were decent all night. If they'd popped huge for that reveal, they'd have made Ryback.

Love Heyman's work. Love that he never takes the shine off Punk, just adds to his hateability.

Enjoyed the Kofi/Ziggler match but the two glaring botches at the beginning were embarrassing.

The drop-kick was absolutely glaring on the TV. Not quiet so bad on youtube.
