rocky64
Maybe wwe will come to an agreement with one of the on demand services with virgin and sky. It seems they way everything's going these days and DVDs are becoming redundant. If they do get to do an on demand service they can sell advertisements cut production costs etc. Â most people have the Internet these days and are able to access Internet tv as well these days so maybe DVDs will end up on wwe on demand as well and that will launch as Internet service similar to what tna have. Â I'm pretty sure this might be the route the wwe wants to go down and if they do choose to distribute the DVD themselves they can maximise there profits and as has been mentioned the prices in the shops will likely go up. Wwe certainly has the ability to produce DVDs, documentarys etc so I wouldn't be suprised if they go down this route. It would make sense.

Paid Members bAzTNM#1 Posted September 20, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted September 20, 2012 Silver Vision do the UFC DVD stuff now, don't they? Didn't know that. They're bound to survive selling those.
Paid Members Bus Surfer Posted September 20, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted September 20, 2012 2641645[/url]'] You got to think that some people are losing their jobs too at Silver Vision, which is also not very good. Â Doesn't the UKFF's own Midnight Zeus work for Silvervision?

Paid Members wandshogun09 Posted September 20, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted September 20, 2012 I do, and still do, thankfully  Good to hear. What will you be doing now or is your position pretty much unaffected?  Also, were there always two sets of staff for Silvervision/FightDVD or is it just one big warehouse with everyone? scouseman
Really disappointed and saddened by this news. Really hope WWE change their minds about this as SV have been great since my childhood. Will miss them very much. I have only just stated collecting wrestling DVD's and this will get a lot harder now. With WWE Euroshop shutting will this mean that European fans will have to get the latest DVD's/BR from WWE Shop??

Paid Members garynysmon Posted September 20, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted September 20, 2012 WWE are probably sick of getting full price for a DVD in the states while us free loading Brits who don't even pay for every PPV get them for

Paid Members MichaelScarn Posted September 20, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted September 20, 2012 They have a section on the Fight DVD site for animation, stuff like complete series of X-Men, Iron man, Super Hero Squad, Older Avengers, Spiderman, Fantastic 4 and Spiderwoman. I'd like to see more of that stuff for sure. Â The customer service from them puts most other shopping companies on the web to shame (and not just wrestling shops either), sorry to hear the possibility that some people could loose their jobs, and that we will loose a valuable resource for our DVD purchases. Â Thanks for the list too sava!
sava
Thanks for the list too sava! Â No probs. This is my personal list of what I have. It just happens to be all of them released by SV (I think.)
Midnight Zeus
There are some more special editions to add to that list - I'll try to dig them all out and post them here if it would be of interest. Â To answer wandshogun09, there is only one set of staff and for the most part we cover all brands. The production is the only department which is split by brand.
