These two have been on a collision course since March when Stixx won NGW's first ever 30 man Rumble at Destiny to earn a shot at the NGW Championship. That match took place at 4th Anniversary Show in June but Rampage used the belt as an unfair advantage to pick up the win. The following show, our debut at The Sports Arena, Stixx came out to help Colossus and get a bit of revenge on Rampage as the former was attacked two on one by the champion and Nathan Cruz. This set up a huge tag team main event between the four and it was in that match the Stixx got a clean pinfall victory on the champion.

This earned him a second title shot in the eyes of the anonymous General Manager and Stixx came out to the end the show and inform Rampage of this news. But this wasnt the end of it. Stixx approached Rampage and told him he was prepared to go right there and then and the two started brawling on the stage. Rampage ran at Stixx and Stixx back body dropped Rampage right through the stage with a massive crash that echoed around the Eastmount Centre.

Stixx made a massive statement when he literally put Rampage through the stage at the end of NGW Full Force. It was an amazing sight. surely Rampage is going to be furious and will be looking for a measure of revenge? But has the champion ever looked more vulnerable? Stixx was awarded this match by the General Manager for the NGW Championship because he scored a pin on Rampage in a tag match in August.

This is one seriously not to miss at the big stage of our return to The Sports Arena. Get your tickets now http://www.ngwuk.com/shop/event-tickets

The rematch from one of the best matches in the whole country last year!

These two went toe to toe as the leader of the former 'new generation' made his debut and immediately challenged the self proclaimed leader of his new generation for the New Generation Wrestling Championship in September 2011 at Revelations. On his debut Dean Allmark, while widely recognised as one of the very best in the country, came out to absolute silence from the NGW fans who are used to regular characters and reoccurring faces. But it didn't take long before Deano transformed the opinion of the Hull fans as they quickly became well and truly behind him and many thought he was about to take the belt. The match itself was a standout in NGW last year and would stand up against any other match in the country. The two put their bodies on the lines in a real battle of leaders of a generation.

That time The Showstealer came out on top and retained the belt in one of the closest battles of his near year long reign but Allmark left cemented as a real favourite of the Eastmount crowd. This time is a bit different. No title is involved and now it's all about respect and ego. Cruz is no longer riding the crest of a wave he was as NGW Champion and in fact since Revelations, Cruz has been on somewhat of a downward spiral. Recently it seems that he is getting his comeuppance for his diabolical deeds earlier on in his NGW career. He recently lost the service of both his 6'6" bodyguard Colossus Kennedy and agent Richie West as they revolted against their former leader, led by the former.

We saw at Full Force earlier this month following orders from the General Manager, Cruz had to go one on one with Colossus as a punishment. But Cruz thought he was smarter and pulled every trick in the book to get out of actually going man on man with the monster and won by a sneaky and selfish countout win when Colossus was distracted after accidentally hitting Cruz's girlfriend, Melanie Price but Cruz ignored her and managed to beat the count. It was then Richie West who came out with orders from the anonymous general manager that Cruz had to wrestling Colossus again at Eternal Glory in December, but this time Richie would be the special guest referee to stop any shenanigans happening.

Cruz will of course have all this on his mind as he makes his return to the Sports Arena with NGW following our hugely successful show in July. Allmark will make his return to NGW for the first time since he finished in the top 4 at the Destiny rumble in March. Allmark, too, has been announced in a huge match for Eternal Glory as he will team with Robbie X and get an opportunity at the tag team championships. Allmark certainly won't take his eye off the ball at Ultimate Showdown though as he will be determined to get revenge and get his win back against Cruz having come so close last time. Cruz will also be determined to get the victory to stop his downward trend. There may not be a title involved this time but it is on an even bigger stage at the impressive Sports Arena. People who were at Revelations last September will know that both men will not hold anything back and will know the quality of the match that these two can produce.

Below, I've attached the highlight video of one of the greatest shows in NGW history with many highlights from Dean V Cruz from Revelations last year. Enjoy!

If the re-match is half as good as the first match it will truly be amazing. On the front row for this show, I may bring some knee protecters incase they end up were they did last time. They Could very well end up on mine and the rest of team Dougie's laps on the front row.

Who is this "Dougie" you talk of?
