Full Force will mark nearly exactly 3 years since Colossus debuted as the bodyguard for Cruz and since then the pair have been through a lot including the 18 month build up of tension. Â Remember, it was of course the anonymous general manager that handed this punishment to Cruz following his despicable actions to his girlfriend, Mel Price and his refusal to follow the general manager's orders to apologise. Â Â 8 men. 4 tag teams who believe they are the best team in NGW. 2 champions in Dara Diablo & El Ligero and the rest all feel they have a right to a title shot. For the still anonymous General Manager, the solution was simple - give them all a title shot at the same time. Â The Predators of course were the runners up to Los Amigos in the tournament to name the first ever champions back in December 2009. They were unsuccessful against the Mexicans in the final but they felt they had the belts won when they made the pin and the bell rang. But the second official ran out to restart the match as they did it by cheating. They feel they've been continually cheated by not getting a rematch, despite being so close to victory. They made a large statement at Summer Smash Brawl 5 when they attacked co-champion Dara Diablo from behind following his victory against Sam Bailey of Team GB only to be run off by Robbie X & Avian. Â Team GB made quite the impact following Sam Bailey's shock new attitude became apparent last September as it was revealed it was him who had attacked NGW original Danny V and eventually retired him. He brought in his partner Zack Gibson. What followed was a long, heated battle between them and Avian and later, Avian's new tag team partner, Robbie X culminating in a vicious hardcore tag match at NGW's 4th Anniversary Show. The vicious attitude of the baseball bat wielding pair has led them to being front contenders for a shot at the NGW tag titles. Â Avian, a a Hull born NGW original, was part of the very first and one of the most popular tag teams in NGW's history with his now retired brother, Danny V. The pair felt they deserved to be the inaugural tag team champions but lost out on that opportunity and a spot in the tag tournament when Danny V was cruelly attacked by Sam Bailey. The retirement of his brother sparked a new fire under Avian and brought in new tag team partner, Robbie X to cover his back and make an assault on the tag team championships. Â All 8 men have been in the ring at the same time previously, at NGW's debut at The Sports Arena, Mystery & Mayhem when they collided in an action packed 4 on 4 tag team match. On that occasion Robbie X & Avian teamed with champions Los Amigos to take on the unlikely foursome of Team GB & The Predators. This time it will be every team for themselves and there will be no friends as each team fights for the thing they desire most, the NGW Tag Team Championship. I have missed that last few shows for various reasons but its looking like I am going to be in Hull for this one. Looking forward to it. Looking forward to it. What are the chances of the Welly show being available on DVD for the 6th Oct?  It's unlikely unfortunately with the 3 show backlog we've got at the minute. It's disappointing (and the the first time ever we've got so behind before) but it's been unavoidable we've started catching up already so shouldn't be too long until it's available.
