Paid Members Catfish Jake Posted September 16, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted September 16, 2012 So what happened to Kincaide? Â I'm not sure, I didn't actually attend the show, and there doesn't seem to be anything mentioned on the website about him.
cobystag
Looking on the twitter feed they still advertised Samuels vs Kincaide on the 11th then changed it to vs Frazier on the 12th. But from posts on here after that the card was never updated. Â I do wonder what is going on with Kincaide.
Daniel Edler
Leroy's long standing back injury flared up again so we left him off the card as a precaution for this one. Better to be safe than sorry. He'll be back in action on a future card as soon as he feels back at 100%. Â Results from today's FUTURE 6 event now up also! Daniel Edler
Full recap, from ipwuk.com:  September 2012 is now in the IPW:UK books, and it was an eventful weekend to say the least! Things kicked off on Saturday night at the newly renamed "Samuels vs. Frazier" live event with the news that Leroy Kincaide was not going to appear as scheduled. Leroy is currently suffering from a recurrence of a previous injury to his back and as a precaution was kept off of the event. We hope to see Leroy back at 100% real soon!  The other big news announced by Sha Samuels, flanked by his new Head of Security, was that he was no longer the Undisputed IPW:UK British Champion - but he was un-unifying the two belts to become a current double-title holder, as both the IPW:UK All-England Champion and the IPW:UK World Champion! This also makes Samuels the first ever Triple Crown holder in IPW:UK history, having previously also held the Tag Team Titles!  His partner in The Kartel, the team he formed to win the Tag Titles many years ago, came to the event's aid and informed Samuels that he had been drafted in as his opponent for the evening's main event in a re-match from last time out!  Both fans and Frazier alike therefore went absolutely crazy when at the end of a wild and eventful main event, 'The Mean Machine' had Samuels' shoulders down for the full 3-count from referee Johan Aubray! It was not to be however, as head official Chris Roberts righly pointed out that Samuels in fact had his feet on the ropes - the bout was re-started, and Samuels (who had used recovered during all of the commotion) hit Frazier with his finisher in order to retain, his 7th defence of the IPW:UK World Championship!  Elsewhere on Saturday night we saw The London Riots make their main show debut in a winning effort against The Bhangra Knights. 'Dazzlin' Darrell and RJ Singh will no doubt want an immediate rematch however, as in order to get the pinfall victory, The Riots had to hit a low blow on 'The Bollywood Dream'!  Fan-favourite and heavyweight force The Rage picked up his first IPW:UK singles victory, defeating the snide 'Earl' Jonathan Windsor, whilst The Mexican Eagle bested the hilarious Mad Man Manson to open his IPW:UK win account as well.  'Irresistible' Iestyn Rees did exactly what he stated he was going to - destroy some "Skinny Boy Wrestlers", but still didn't seem happy with just taking out two, he wanted more. Rees soon changed his mind when Joel Masters arrived in the ring, telling the IPW:UK heavyweight powerhouse that he wasn't worth his time, declining Masters' challenge to take on somebody more his own size.  And lastly we saw the impressive Will Osprey and 'The Star Attraction' Mark Haskins double-pinned by long-term rivals 'Mr. IPW' Ashley Reed and the high-flying Paul Robinson. The end to the contest came when Osprey, obviously extremely excited about his IPW:UK debut, went for and missed his trademark 630 from the top rope, whilst Paul Robinson simultaneously managed to connect on Haskins with a Shooting Star Press. The resourceful Ashley Reed hooked Osprey with a quick rollup and Robinson covered Haskins - referee Chris Roberts had no option but to issue a double 3-count and thus, joint winners!  After the contest, Robinson took to the microphone to challenge Reed to the "Final Fight" for November 17th's "8th Anniversary Show" and it's been signed!
