2nd Generation Prospects

Talking about Vader's son in another thread reminded me that the WWE have a whole bunch of wrestler's sons still mooching around development, and quite a few that were but have disappeared.Whatever happened to Ric Flair's youngest son? He was signed up to development a while back but I've not heard anything of him since. Vader's son too I thought was signed. So who's going to be the next Rock or Orton, and who's going to be the next DiBiase or Hart?

I had heard talk of TNA signing the younger Flair, when Flair joined up with TNA as a "part of the package deal". Barring that, I havent heard anything of him since he wrestled Richie Steamboat (just before Steamboat was signed) and looked terrible doing so.

Reid Flair was never signed to a developmental contract with WWE (him getting caught with drugs probably didn't help his case) but he did claim in an interview that he turned down a TNA developmental deal because he wanted to be in WWE. He's still doing indies these days and from what I've seen isn't good at all. Very generic.

And how about some of the newest ones to enter the business within the past few years and who have not been signed by WWE yet:

Scott Hall's son

Larry Zbyszko's son

Zbyszko Jr., Hall Jr. and the gang

Haku's son (the one in NJPW, not the one on Smackdown)

WWE should be pushing the fuck out of the Second Generation theme- it's the perfect vehicle for cashing in on the nostalgia trend whilst making it relevant to the current product. I'm not for a minute suggesting that anyone with a famous daddy should be automatically main eventing PPV's, just that they should be making the most out of the ready made backstories that the second generation talents have. If they wanted to they could really push the idea of WWE being a family business. I think it would have a big appeal.

Haku's son looks the business.

And he's pretty good in the ring too. Definitely better than his brother Camacho over on Smackdown.
Oh I didn't know that was Haku's son too (I don't watch Smackdown often). Do the commentators acknowledge this?
Nope. They pretend he's Mexican.
