knightmare Posted September 6, 2012 Author Share Posted September 6, 2012 BREAKING WAW WRESTLING NEWS. BIG MATCH ANNOUNCED FOR EPIC STUDIOS SHOW NORWICH 15 SEPT. Â The WAW championship committee along with directors of RQW Have decided the vacant RQW European open Tag titles and Belts will be contested by The Hooligans and The Army of two with the winners being crowned champions of Europe. The match will be a 60 minute duration decided by 1 fall. Referee for the match will be WAW Official and former british lightweight champion and tag team champion Jimmy Ocean. knightmare Posted September 17, 2012 Author Share Posted September 17, 2012 SHOW RESULTS COURTESY OF CHRIS BULLARD WAWFF  The show opened with a celebration for the life of Liam Still involving all the wrestlers on the show  Draw was made for the tournament involving the crowd picking different numbers  King of the ring round 1 Sir Robin vs Aron Frost Ref jimmy ocean  Match starts with robin mainly on top, robin gets a public warning for not letting his opponent up, Frost gets back in the match with a slam and a pair of elbow drops for a near fall, a very even match with robin maybe having a slight advantage, frost turns it around with several good moves but misses a top rope splash and robin follows up with a clothesline which leads to the winning 3 count at 7 minutes 30  Sam Adonis vs Marco Marinelli Ref joe penny  Even opening but with more talking than wrestling until Marco gets the advantage with a backdrop on Sam, Sam comes back with a hip toss and is well in control of the match, Marco finally gets in the match Eand almost wins off a suplex, near falls go back and forth until finally Sam wins with a clothesline leg sweep combo  TJ Daniels vs Alex Young Ref Scott Edgar  Crowd Split as to who to cheer for, exchange of wrist locks at the beginning before they kick it into gear with good fast moves but neither really gains the advantage, Alex starts to take over and despite Daniel's best efforts it's Alex who ends up winning in 9 minutes but result could easy of gone the other way  Chuck Cyrus vs Brad Slayer Ref jimmy ocean  Open chuck attacks, slayer escapes, whatever chuck tries slayer has an answer, finally needs help from manager Sam knee at ringside to get ahead, chuck dominates for long periods with slayer offering the odd attack, slayer gets a near fall after miss communication between chuck and knee chuck finally wins a hard hitting match after a Canadian destroyer at the 9 minute mark  Semi-final matches Sir robin vs Sam Adonis Ref joe penny  Heavy handed opening by both ends with Adonis hitting a back suplex, mainly all Adonis with help from tommy lee at ringside, a slam, elbow and leg drop lead to a near fall for robin, again involvement from tommy lee lead to Adonis regaining the advantage, robin hits 3 clotheslines and has Adonis beat but lee places his foot on the rope to stop the pin, robin argues with lee and is rolled up from behind and Adonis gets the pin with help from a handful of tights  Chuck Cyrus vs Alex Young Ref Scott Edgar  Chuck attacks young beating him in the corner, young uses his speed to attack and gets a couple of near falls, chuck and manager Sam knee attack young leaving him out in the corner, knee continues to take any chance he can behind the refs back, young does a backflip off the corner and twists his knee on landing, chuck attacks the injury and seems to have the match won until he is surprised by a young top rope flip and young gets the 3 count, after the match tommy lee blames knee for the loss saying he is losing confidence that he can manage Cyrus to success  RQW European tag team championship The Hooligans vs Ao2 Ref joe penny  Zak and sharpe begin the match, lock up goes all round the ring with neither getting on top so they both tag their partners, Roy takes the most over fusion and he and Zak have fusion in trouble with good tags between them, Ao2 finally get some offense with Roy trapped in the corner, hooligans regain it and hit wasssup on sharpe for a near fall, both teams hit the ring and in the battles Zak accidentally hits the ref, fusion grabs 1 of the belts and nails Roy with it but he kicks out at 2, Zak enters and tombstones fusion on the belt and Roy follows with a top rope elbow for the pin  After the match Aaron Sharpe enters and thanks everyone and invites his other half briony in the ring and asks her to marry him which she accepts to a large cheer from the crowd  King of the ring final match Sam Adonis vs Alex Young ref jimmy ocean  Looks like Young cant compete because of the knee injury suffered earlier in the night, tommy lee claims the win for Adonis when Ricky Knight enters and declares he is to sub for Young, lee and Adonis attack Knight but he fights them off, match goes outside, trays, a bowling ball and anything they can grab are used but then the lights go out and when back on several wrestlers including metal heads and Peter Nixon are attacking knight, special edition and others attempt to make the save but are also attacked until the music of judas hits and he walks out to the ring, he screams and attacks everyone, judas choke slams Adonis and walks off, Knight turns and pins Adonis to win the match and tournament  Great show all round, hot crowd throughout who where very into the matches, WAW back next at epic in a show involving Steve corino and Alison danger   -------------------- Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
