If anything, fans chanting 'ECW' would have been the worst possible reaction and made negated bringing Heyman back. They'd have been ignoring the whole point of why he was there, and chanting something entirely asinine.

and you wouldn't have seen a slight touch of humour in that?

No.

But I'm not mental enough to enjoy watching something I like ruined by prats.

Also, you didn't say it like 'LOLZ! Wudnt that be AMAZEBALLS', you said it'd be epic like it could have been Triple H coming back from quad surgery.

It couldn't be epic. It's a fat guy playing a bit part role in a bigger story. Presumably because he spent far too much time worrying about making sure the niche crowd he'd developed saw him as a messiah, not enough time being a good businessman and now needs the money.

Seeing Heyman back was a great surprise. He hasn't missed a beat and cut a really good promo. Hopefully he sticks around for a bit and I'm looking forward to seeing where the go with the Lesnar/HHH feud. Other than that, I wasn't too interested in the show. There was nothing really terrible, just nothing really exciting either. The matches for Over The Limit are seriously random too, though I guess it'll be a good show.

Apart from Paul Heymans apperance which peaked my interest i felt Raw was such a non event this week with nothing of note or any real importance to build towards the next PPV Over The Limit. Business Eve Torres with the office look is awesome as i always love the office secretery pornos.

So I take it the Lord is winning the belt eventually then?Punk will drop it to Albert, Cena will beat Albert, Lesnar will get his win back from Cena at Survivor Series/Royal Rumble or something and Rock will beat Lesnar? Anyone?

Don't see why Brock can't beat Cena (or Sheamus) and then have a title defense against Cena, who would be due one after his win.Kind of a meh show, but my long term interest hasn't waned too much. I have to agree with:

WWE need to go back and watch Rikishi and see how you can have a comedy dancing character but at the same time make him serious enough that people buy into him as a serious competitor and actually have people give a shit about them in the long term.

Absolutely! While Rikishi did some cheesy dancing, his humanity came through. Brodus's routine is laid on so thick its like a caricature. I just have no feelings towards it apart from annoyance.

Because he's only signed for about 3 more matches and wasting them on the same person another two times is stupid. But probably not as stupid as paying someone $5 million for 30 dates and thinking its a good idea for him to wrestle Sheamus, as you suggested.

She looks fucking stunning. I was thinking that she looks like a better version of the girls they have in Brazzers at Work or something. And Maxine is majorly hot.Bit of a hit n' miss Raw for me. Enjoyed some parts, bored to tears by others.I'm going off Brodus Clay fast, I don't care that he's beating the Miz I just don't feel he's progress any since he debuted. Good to see Dolph Ziggler pick up his first win in what seems like months.

Big Show taking the piss out of Big Johnny's voice and then shutting up when he saw Eve behind him was stupid. Then it happened again with him and the detectives. In the detective promo, I was expecting Eve to give a Ron Simmons pause before bellowing 'Apologise!' Well done to whoever saw the potential in Eve, as I didn't see anything there. She's been alright so far. When Lesnar came back and people were saying Heyman should come back, I was against it because I wanted to see the new Brock Lesnar, not a nostalgia act. They've introduced him well into this story though. I think Brock is fine to do the shorter promos and interact with the other wrestlers; he shouldn't be a mute like he was when he first came in. But Heyman would do a good job of filling in any vital things whilst Brock is away, and he can do the longer promos on behalf of Brock if needs be. I wouldn't care to see him at ringside, but as a spokesperson, he could be fine - mainly for when Brock's not about. He's desperately clinging onto that ponytail though. Give it up, Paul. Good promo this week, though I agree he seemed hammier. He seemed to be looking side to side a lot like he was really shifty. My main point of interest in Raw (since Extreme Rules especially) is Brock. I know others are the same. My mate said that even though he found out the winner of Extreme Rules before watching it, he thought the Brock vs. Cena match was perfect and couldn't imagine getting any more excited over it if he saw it live. I asked if he'd watched Raw since, and he said he's only really watched the Lesnar bits on YouTube and hadn't seen last week's at all.I reckon a load of people turned over during Big Johnny's promo. I don't think that should be attributed to Punk either. I like him, but in a long promo like this, he's very monotonous and stumbles over his words. He called Lesnar 'Brock Cena' at one point. On a better Raw, this would be somewhere in the middle of the card rather than at the start. So Bryan is on Raw and Jericho is on Smackdown now then, right? I predicted Jericho to switch brands last week.

Pretty shit Raw for me. I've got into a nasty, unhealthy habit of staying up late to watch Raw live recently, but last night was the first one in a while where I got half way through and just thought 'fuck this, it's not worth it'.

I enjoyed the inital portion of the opening segment, with Big Johnny putting over his accomplishments in Japan. I imagine that 90% of the casual audience have no idea that the guy was ever a wrestler, so this was a good bit of build for his match with Cena. Sending Punk out there seemed a bit awkward and didn't really achieve anything. Maybe I'm just fed up of listening to his shit jokes about Laurinaitis, not that I was ever into them in the first place. I suppose Punk's interference served the purpose of setting up the main event for the show, but can't say many people looked bothered by that announcement.

Big Show vs Cody Rhodes again. Wasn't something I needed to see. Show being made to look like a bitch after the match by apologising to Eve was similar to Sheamus apologising to Big Johnny a few weeks ago. Nobody wants to cheer for a babyface pussy.

Dolph vs Kofi again. TV match number 200-and-whatever between the two. Yawn. I didn't pay much attention to the action to be honest, I was struggling to stay awake by this point.

John Cena appears by satellite and looks like he's about to cry. I hate Cena promos when he's not out there feeding off the live audience.

Not offended by the Divas stuff, I like it when they keep their stuff short and sweet. Nice to have Layla back and good to see Maxine on Raw.

I thought the tag match seemed like a pointless card-filling exercise, so this was the point I hit the sack last night, just couldn't be bothered with it and I didn't think that there was going to be anything else on the show worth staying awake for. As it turned out, the match was alright for what it was and I think that putting all four guys into the World Title match at OTL is a decent move. I generally like Fatal Fourways and I'm confident that those four guys will deliver a great one.

I still like the Funkasaurus, but it's time he did something different. It was good to see him in a more competitive match this week. Shame what's happened to The Miz really. I wouldn't be too shocked to see him released soon the way he is being booked right now.

Paul Heyman's appearance was a bit of a shock, but it was pretty cool to see him again. I doubt he's sticking around though. As others have said, they need to find creative ways to keep Lesnar in the audience's consciousness when he's not actually on the shows and this was a good example of how to do it.

Fat Albert stank up the main event. I was actually one of the people celebrating his return to WWE, but I had no idea that he was going to be so shit. I just can't get into the cartoony Japanese gimmick at all, he looks shit and all his moves and mannerisms are shit too. This wasn't the start to the Punk /Bryan feud that I hoped for, hopefully they can crack on with it without Tensai getting in the way next week.

Overall, it seemed a poor Raw which really suffered from a lack of star-power. It was to be expected I suppose, I knew Lesnar and HHH weren't going to be there and Cena is selling an injury. Raw has been strong since Mania, I expect business will pick up again next week as the OTL PPV rapidly approaches.

I apparently am the only person who actually likes Jericho.I also quite like the Punk bit with Johnny. We were begging for Punks music to hit the second Johnny started banging on about there being consequences for people taking the piss out of his voice. Slightly disappointing that it was Show to take the piss instead. As far as the Diva's go, I'm still not sure why Kelly Kelly even exists, but at least she didn't get into the match. Still shit that there wasn't a tag in the tag match and it lasted about 14 seconds.Brodus Clay can please fuck off and come back with another gimmick. I guess he's at least having matches now, but it's still not interesting. As far as Tensai goes, why isn't his asian mist thing a DQ?
