The FA Cup final is wrong in so many ways.

Indeed.Anyway, this might seem late as it's Wednesday night already, but there are two reasons it's not. First, the final scores were in the first post and the table was updated before Sunday was out, and secondly all of next week's games take place on Sunday so you've all still got the usual amount of time to make your picks. In fact, the new thread should be up well before midnight so you'll have a bit more time than usual, if anything. As for said table, one of Seph's silly rules came back to have the opposite of the desired effect. Somehow tom produced just the performance he needed after last week's disaster, only for his 4 three-pointers to gift a bonus to everyone else. Pretty sure we're getting rid of that rule in the summer, or at least it should only apply if the person already in 1st place manages that feat. Still, it closes the gap on the rest to just 3 points, with El Espanacas no longer second last after catching lowest scorer steve and The Ratt, while even Haraga must be sweating on another bottom-placed finish despite lying in 17th and getting his D2D right - albeit in a cynical fashion. At the other end, a cursory glance makes it look like the snowman has tightened his grip on top spot, but with so many points to play for in the final 2 rounds, a five-point lead is far from secure. Scoring was fairly high this week, especially considering the EPL was as unpredictable as ever. Only United's comfortable but not emphatic win over Swansea could be said to have gone the obvious way. Actual goals at Villa Park took many participants by surprise when in fact a stalemate came at Molineux after most had understandably expected an away victory for the Toffees. Fulham's narrow win at home to Sunderland and QPR's late winner over Stoke proved next most fruitful, but Bolton's failure to beat West Brom and City's all-too-easy success on the road stumped a few people. Meanwhile in the Cup final, Chelsea holding on grimly against Liverpool at Wembley was roughly in line with what most players had foreseen beforehand. Now, a word about the German matches. It seems you lot haven't got the hang of this whole 'last day drama' malarkey, which is going to make the next fortnight excruciating. Some people might've made their guesses out of thin air or based on the teams they think of as more famous, but there was a definite pattern that suggested people looked at the clubs' positions in the table, rather than their respective situations. Based on form over the season, of course 1860 should be better than Alemannia. But in desperation on the final day, the form book can go out of the window. Munich's promotion hopes ended the week before, while Aachen's only chance of staying up was to win. As it turned out they didn't because Karlsruhe also won to at least give themsleves a chance of survival in a play-off later this month. Frankfurt going into the game were already up, their only incentive to win would've been to try to overhaul Greuter F
