Are You Serious

Recommended Posts

Hade Vansen appears towards the end of this weeks webisode

Its like a mini version of Botchamania

I would imagine it might even be inspired from Botchamania. Everybody knows about it.

Hasn't there already been a thread for Are You Serious, or has it only been discussed in the various "not worthy of own thread" topics where it belongs?

It's usually good, but the latest show #10 rubbed me the wrong way.

Hade Vansen didn't deserve the cheapshot at him; it's not his fault Vince changed his mind on him after just one vignette and didn't even give him a shot at getting over.

Also, Matthews shot at Zack Ryder about how 'this show will last' was rather amusing, given Ryder is now up to 61 weeks and counting, whereas 'Are You Serious' is up to show 10, and generally, Zack's show pulls in more Youtube viewers than 'Are You Serious' each week.

I don't see the point of burying Zack's show, since it airs on the same WWE Fan Nation channel.

I often wonder whether WWE, or people high up, do it out of some need to put down someone and without legitimate competition they decide to deride their own talent. Recently though, I've fooled myself into believing that Vince et all really, really knows what they do and love to go out their way to perpetuate certain myths that the smarks go on tirades about, just because they can (not out of some malicious intent towards Ryder or whoever. The fact that they may do this, playing them like puppets while still pulling in millions, is pretty funny.

Btw did I imagine it but does Arn Anderson do the puppet of Trips' voice on the show or did I completely make that up?

Stop being a SillyGuy. It was just a gag. It's not like they said he thrills (get it) penguins. They just said his acting was a bit wooden. Which, you know, it was. Probably because the material wasn't great. They didn't go "he's completely fucking shit if we're honest, can't work, can't do anything, so we told him to fuck off. Like that bastard was getting anywhere near lovely, lovely Mark". Probably because that wouldn't have been funny. Plus, who really gives a even a runway fuck?
