rayneisatwat
Show name is a bit weird... I'd suggest you don't Google "great bear wrestling", especially while you're eating. Fun facts, we did that before settling with the name. Mainly to avoid the problem you're insinuating and except a site proclaiming love for Big John Studd theres nothing. rayneisatwat
First Match Announced! Both of these Midlands based wrestlers came up short in their respective matches at Battle Kingdom 2012. Pete Dunne lost in the Main Event after losing to a Superkick from Sam Bailey, whilst Chris Brookes had what was lauded as Match of the Night with Jonathan Gresham. The losses that both men incurred are likely to inspire them both into getting into a winning habit, and we predict a fast, hard hitting match up. Great Bear Promotions
As exclusively revealed yesterday on the Great Bear Promotions Twitter feed (@GBPWrestling) Great Bear Management has detailed what many industry insiders are calling the most controversial, groundbreaking promotional tactic seen in British Wrestling by offering the chance for the first person to enter The AP Club on May 20th to shockingly win a KitKat Chunky. Â With KitKat being a huge mainstream brand in the UK it is guaranteed that this tie up will see Wrestling shoot back into the mainstream and see the BBC replace its many programmes about houses with wrestling. Â Â Great Bear, the founder and knower of everything had this to say 'In order to makes us the most talked about wrestling promotion in the world, we have decided that only such a drastic and controversial tactic could bring today's modern crowd really back into the fold.' Â One question remains, what impact will the KitKat have in the main event of Chuck Taylor vs Jack Gallagher? Be at Exciting Battle in Cheshire to find out! Â *Press release provided by the FWA. There will be a kitkat chunky for the 1st person in, but it will be neither controversial or groundbreaking.
Great Bear Promotions
So we thought with two weeks to go we'd announce our next match, albeit without a graphic at the minute, sorry about that!  'Amongst The Best in the North West' Match 'Deadly' Damon Leigh vs 'Superstylin' Sam Bailey  In a first time encounter between these two stalwarts of the North West wrestling scene both men will be looking to build on their wins at 'Battle Kingdom 2012.' DDL beat youngster Corey Edwardson by questionable means when Corey clearly had Leigh pinned for a three count, however senior referee Des Robinson was distracted by Leigh's valet Melanie Price. Leigh went on to win the match and is clearly, with Melanie Price in his corner a force to be reckoned with.  Sam Bailey on the other hand proved to be popular with the Holmes Chapel audience and secured a tidy victory over fellow Light-Heavyweight Pete Dunne in an entertaining Main Event. The question is will Bailey be able to compete with the much bigger Damon Leigh and thus claim to be 'Amongst The Best in The North West?'  To find out be sure to buy tickets, right here, right now at - http://www.skiddle.com/events/11630112/
Great Bear Promotions
Fourth Match Announced! Evan Sarven vs 'The Toxic Terror' Cyanide  The fourth match announced is a heavyweight clash as local lad Evan Sarven takes on the 350lb Cyanide. Sarven was unlucky to be defeated in his first showing at Great Bear as he took 'The Pride of Wales' Eddy Dennis to the limit, however he may need all the luck he can gather against the 350lb Cyanide.  Cyanide is a wrestler who has cut an imposing figure on the British Wrestling scene, holding titles in New Generation Wrestling, Britannia Promotions and many others. His massive frame is also surprisingly agile as many a wrestler has found out, including British wrestling legend Sabotage who he forced to retire after a horrific beating.  Will Sarven fall to the Toxic Terror? Turn up May 20th to find out!
