After seeing this I went straight to B&M to pick up a box of each. I ended up getting another five boxes of cereal while I was there to replenish the cereal cupboard. B&M have some great cereal gems there that most supermarkets don't.

Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted September 26, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted September 26, 2021 (edited) Had a crack at making pretzels. Used a homebrew stout in the recipe, made some salted, some with chilli flakes and one with rosemary. Not a bad first attempt. Â Look like shit though. Retro Red
Are you boiling them in bicarb before baking? Gives them the chewy exterior also helps the salt stick before you fire them in the oven. Look tasty though!
Paid Members ReturnOfTheMack Posted September 26, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted September 26, 2021 I dipped them for a few seconds in boiling water with bicarb yeah.
Paid Members Carbomb Posted September 26, 2021 Paid Members Share Posted September 26, 2021 Saw this in Iceland. I'm part repelled, part intrigued. Â
SuperBacon
The Guardian/Observer is a shitshow these days, but Jay Rayner remains a highlight: https://www.theguardian.com/food/2021/oct/17/jay-rayner-restaurant-review-kebab-kid-london-take-away-as-a-cult-nusr-et-steakhouse
Keith Houchen
Came here to post that, a brilliant takedown. I must try the kebab shop in Manchester he mentioned, sounds great.
Mr_Danger
Salt Bae’s customers, the morning after the night before, getting off the throne, looking down and clocking that all their money has bought them is a bunch of glittering turds. What a line. Need a kebab now. Edited October 17, 2021 by Mr_Danger
Moderators neil Posted October 17, 2021 Moderators Share Posted October 17, 2021 Personally this one did it for me Quote Imagine Rod Hull’s Emu, bare naked and disgracing himself by vomiting down his own neck Doing a take down of Salt Bae is pretty easy, but thats a good one. I mean people who seriously go to places like that are the type who have thrones at their wedding and a dining set that is all black and gold. I liked how he mentioned that Salt Bae is from humble beginnings so him rinsing the rich and stupid is the last laugh.
SuperBacon
Not quite #EatClean so will pop these in here. The Mac and Cheese one is fucking horrendous. It might be better warmed up but I couldn't be arsed. Like eating cold cheesy sick. Cajun Chicken one is OK, the beans and peppers make it better, but it's not a million miles away from the Chicken Tikka one they already have. Also have a Philly Cheese Steak one and a Steak/Guiness one that I had a while back which was very decent. All on offer for a quid at Morrisons at the moment. Warning they're slightly smaller than the usual pasties.

DCW
Been frequenting the Asian supermarkets and trying out all the different gyoza/dumpling things in the airfryer ever since having them in a restaurant the other week. Pork & Kimchi ones seem to have won this week anyway!
