Funnily enough, I've been watching the first Raw of 1997 the last couple of nights. Furnas & Lafon vs. Fake Razor & Diesel. Â I've always been into the guys who were the better wrestlers, Savage over Hogan, Bret Hart, The Rockers, Ultimate Warrior, Mr Perfect, etc. So it was always a given that I'd like Furnas & Lafon. Echo sentiments expressed by NEWM and Gladstone. Was disappointed they never really worked out. In hindsight, when your personality pales in comparison to Davey Boy & Owen, I guess you're always going to struggle in the WWF. Truth Posted March 5, 2012 Share Posted March 5, 2012 The match between the British Bulldogs and Doug Furnas&Dan Kroffat from AJPW in 1989 is worth checking out for those who are not too familiar with his work. Furnas&Kroffat had many other tag team classics in AJPW too. I must admit I have never watched Doug Furnas in any singles matches but as a tag team wrestler he was excellent. Solly  Speaking of engrish (as L and R is the same symbol in Japan), and totally unrelated to the actual topic of me 'having the pleasure' of seeing a bunch of Furnas matches.
