Paid Members WWFChilli Posted January 30, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted January 30, 2016 On the off chance there are any other Columbo fans on here, two Scottish guys produce The Columbo Podcast which is a fun listen. It's basically a no frills episode by episode review of the entire run with the concept being one of them is a huge Columbo fan and has seen the all before, and the other is watching them all for the first time. Would definitely recommend. Regularly listen to this, I also recommend. Really easy listening.
Rey_Piste
Richard Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast can be a bit hit and miss, but this week's one with Ray Peacock is among the better ones. It is both funny, but does conclude on a serious message about mental health and suicide.

Awards Moderator HarmonicGenerator Posted February 24, 2016 Awards Moderator Share Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) Apologies if it's already been mentioned in here, but I've recently discovered the podcast The Worst Idea Of All Time, in which two comedians from New Zealand watch Grown Ups 2 every week for a year. It's from 2014, which shows how behind I am in the world, and I think they followed it up with a similar project for Sex And The City 2, but if you're like me and hadn't heard of it, it's a good listen, very entertaining, and it works even better when you haven't seen Grown Ups 2! Awards Moderator Onyx2 Posted February 24, 2016 Awards Moderator Share Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) That sounds fab. Â I'm currently enjoying : Â * all the Adnan Syed hearing fallout from Serial and Undisclosed. No closer to resolution, but fascinating. Â * Penn's Sunday School. Penn Jilette sure can tell a story. Sounds like he has a great life. Â * Limetown. I'm just getting into fictional podcasts. This is a "found footage" Scooby Doo mystery that works really well audio only. Â Oh and Rey_Piste - that Ray Peacock one is harrowing. And when he (justifiably) calls out the audience member interrupting him it's grippingly uncomfortable. WyattSheepMask
Yeah I had a listen to that Richard Herring episode too. He rightly calls her on her shit and she has nothing to argue back with, it's a strangely enjoyable train wreck of a moment
Paid Members Dead Mike Posted February 25, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted February 25, 2016 Ray Peacock is ace. His paranormal/fortean podcast 'The Parapod' has just come back for it's 2nd series & has been nominated for a Chortle award.
Paid Members WWFChilli Posted February 25, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted February 25, 2016 For anyone who listens to the show, the Elis James and John Robins Radio X/XFM show has a podcast, the tunes removed and just the back and forth chat. Its quiteva fun listen.
The Gaffer
Can anyone reccomend me some funny video game podcasts? I basically seem to be looking for the Attitude Era or New Gen Podcast of video games. Â I've tried Cane & Rinse and Retronauts and they're both unbearable and make me hate gamers. Stuffy old blokes sitting around mumbling "yeah that was a great piece of software" to themselves seemingly allergic to humour and sometimes apologetic for it. Â It's like there is no audience and they just happened to start recording a chat in the back room after a game of Magic: The Gathering. Paid Members SpursRiot2012 Posted March 3, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted March 3, 2016 I have personally found gamer podcasts to be terrible across the board. If there's a subculture that takes themselves more seriously than wrestling fans, it's gamers.

Paid Members DEF Posted March 3, 2016 Paid Members Share Posted March 3, 2016 The only gamer pod I listen to is http://lostlevels.club/ Â I really like it but then I do know one of the blokes on it.
Mr.E
I did ask this in the questions thread, but does anybody here run a podcast at all? and/or would they know what is needed to start a podcast?
