Billy, are you being serious? I think they meant a British series with a similar theme.

Id be all for this, bring in an England player for promotion, some names from the past, a couple of current guys and throw in the best of the Brindy scene.

Although I agree that this twitter campaign most likely isn't going to lead to anything... I think it's a shame that so many people are content to berate rocky64 fandom and passion to do something.

Thing is though, although it would not likely reach the success of the Indian equivalent, IMPACT are in a position to have a decent crack at the UK market IF they ever wanted to take that chance.

Right now they have to hand the following:

- Several forthcoming UK dates for the next two years which will likely sell a good number of tickets...

- A relationship with various UK promoters with access to the best talent in the UK today...

- A working relationship with Challenge TV who are enjoying reasonable ratings (from what I understand) from their shows...

In other words, why couldn't TNA use their forthcoming UK shows to create a limited series of tv episodes for IMPACT-UK and then arrange for a UK tv show to appear on Challenge? Their are obviously risks, challenges and potential pitfalls in the idea, but it's not completely unfeasible.

It's a rubbish idea and the British public will not be remotely interested.

None of the factors that make the Indian one any good will be the same. Have you seen how nuts the fans are for it and how many of them there are in India? That's what makes it feel big time, it's the fact that people give a shit. You can't fake that, and you certainly can't get that level of enthusiasm about wrestling in this country. And that is absolute fact - it will never happen.

Why would we want a promotion with all Indian Wrestlers in the UK? Whats the point? Surely we should be looking at a British thing that isn't like Ring Ka King, I don't think that name would work over here as well.

Wow as far as missing the point posts go that's a classic :D

Anyway maybe i'm missing somthing but wouldn't a Europe one be more sensible? i'm just thinking of things like a venue to host it and regualler attendece form fans, puting on some of the german wrestlers would be a good idea too.

NWE got there first and killed the scene for them. I know it wasn't a TV show but in terms of a live experiance it was probably pretty close with all it's ex WWE stars. I think people are missing why RKK worked, how I don't know know but still, it works because it's a country that hasn't really had that much like it before, the economy is on the up for certain bits of the society, it's got a movie star involved and their pretty much treated like Gods over there, the culture seems to be in a more optimistic phase over there (not the same, but remember when Blair was our saviour and everyone over here thought shit music was great, works like that) and their not cynical fucks when it comes to the show. I think a lot of places in Europe will be at the moment.

They should stay in India. They're stupid fucks if they take what's obviously going to be a massive thing for them and think about spreading themselves further at this point. They're even stupider fucks if they go to the UK or Europe for the next few years. They'd be better off going to Africa. Not yet though. Focusing on another country with an RKK concept right now would be insane. It's bad enough that they've got that other thing they do. What's it called? That real small thing they do in a country that's losing money wank over wank? Sounds like a porn company?

I agree with Africa, and i'm not sure if anyones saying do it next week the India thing was obviously planed for a while, I also get that india is wrestling starved with non cynical fanbase but I wasn't sure if there wasn't a european country (without actually naming one) that fits the same bill.

Not being funny but watching RKK it reminds me of the old world of sport where the people were pretty dumb and thought it was all real, like I know the title matches were real but only the endings but over there they'll believe anything that wouldn't happen over here which is why they shouldnt do it be much better doing an mma rkk or something also youd need a big name to do it over here not like Hacksaw Jim Duggan or Rowdy Roddy like they would have to get something like Cena to make it work and that wouldn't happen cause hes under contract forever to wwe.

well yes abosulty but that's why it's great it's like the 80's have come back all over again, that's why you should aim for cultures and counties that would lap it up.

i'm not sure why you worded like that, because it's that exact point that makes it fantastic, in fact people could learn a lot from those kind of fans.
