TUFCfan
Apologies for missing last week's predictions. As soon as the Torquay game was called off, the weekend's games were no longer at the forefront of my mind. Didn't pick a bad week to forget though by the looks of it. Fog Dude
Woah, is it Wednesday already? The scores went into the original post late last night, and an update to the table soon followed. It was another low-scoring week with the gap at the top, unusually enough, remaining the same, but snowman dave drops back a bit and joint lowest scorer sivy slips to fifth with only one point this time out. Another absence from tom has let El Espanacas pull clear at the other end, but if the former gives up completely it could leave the latter more than 10 points adrift of the rest. Top scorer honours went to the current champions hbk4life which now makes him the best of the chasing pack, but he still has a long way to go to catch the top 7. Despite getting his D2D right, The Ratt had another bad round, and only 2 people disagreed with him so the extra 4 bonus points weren't enough to make him highest scorer. The City game was by far the easiest to guess though, saving a lot of people from an even worse showing. Both Spanish results proved a bit of a turn-up, with nobody backing Barcelona to lose in Pamplona. Elsewhere Spurs' home win was probably the next most fruitful match for one-pointers, but who could foresee it ending up so one-sided? The West Midlands derby was also useless for exact scores, while even steve didn't go for an Everton victory over Chelsea. Of the other games, Norwich and Wigan's away wins proved slightly surprising, but Fulham and Arsenal's standard 2-1 scorelines were good for the odd three-pointer here and there. Right, this is already more than 14 hours late, so I'll be getting on with the next thread straight away.
