PROGRESS Wrestling announces the BWC Progress Division

PROGRESS Wrestling is delighted to announce the formation of the BWC Progress Division.

 

In brief what this means is that there will be at least one match featuring the best of the BWC's students on every single show we do, plus regular title defences.

 

For those that don't know: the BWC has it's own championship (known as the Scarlo Scholarship belt) which is currently held by Xander Cooper, who trains at Futureshock. The Scarlo belt is defended up and down the country at shows by BWC students, but PROGRESS will be the only promotion without its own BWC training school in which the championship will be contested.

 

At PROGRESS Chapter One: In The Beginning on 25th March, Xander Cooper will defend his championship against "Dazzling" Darrell Allen in what is sure to be a terrific display of the next generation of British wrestling talent.

(and of course there's also an 8-man tournament to crown the first PROGRESS champion, featuring Colt Cabana, Zack Sabre Jr, Marty Scurll, Noam Dar, Nathan Cruz, RJ Singh, Colossus and El Ligero).

I saw Xander Cooper a few years ago in FutureShock when he was just starting out and always thought he looked decent, with bags of potential. Glad to see him appearing in front of different audiences in different parts of the country.
