Magnum
I just watched the Loose Women interview and he was good again, I had to cringe a bit when the annoying woman from Coronation Street told Hulk Hogan that American wrestling is quite new over here though. Same here. "Wrestlings a fairly new concept over here". Fuck off. Hogan was doing his 5th retirement angle when she was still sucking Peter Barlow's cock. Â Hulk was charming Lorraine Kelly into bed with Mike Morris having a wank in the corner on TV-AM in 1989 before somebody gave a shiny shite about the Corrie girl. Â To be fair to her, Charlie Stubbs had her locked in the room above the Rovers for about 5 years, so there's a chance she missed the last boom period altogether. Forrest
Have to say, I'm not really a fan of this absolute destruction of kayfabe that Hogan's been conducting on this tour. I get they're trying to sell it as being a fun night out and not a legitimate sport, but can you imagine if you were a 10 year old fan who believed in kayfabe and watched Hulk Hogan going on about how it's all pre-determined, all the guys are friends and it's all just a big con? It would be devastating! Â Also, the hypocrisy of TNA, the place where "wrestling matters" turning round and saying "yeah, we don't care about the competition, it's all about the entertainment" after spending months riddying WWE for the same thing, is astounding. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted January 26, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 26, 2012 Have a day off. Its 2012. Kayfabe on talk shows is dead and has been dead since God knows when. They never even kayfabed in 1997, during the supposed "boom period". I remember Bret Hart talking about it being fake on Trevor and Simon. You're about 25 years to late with that one. My 8 year old niece knows its fake, and she quite likes it.
Loki
He'd get laughed out of the studio if he tried to pretend it was real now, brother. You can still be about "wrestling" without pretending it's a legit sport. Hogan knows the right line to take - athletic, hard-hitting entertainment, laugh off the spandex, bit of self-deprecation, job done. Â Nobody's asked him to do a move on them yet though - I'd have at least asked for a headlock.

It would be devastating! If you're a 10 year old fan getting home from school and looking up clips of Hulk Hogan on Loose Women, you probably already know wrestling's not real. In fact, I'd say the only people who think wrestling is real are too young/disabled to understand Hogan's explanation of how it's not real anyway. Â Also, the hypocrisy of TNA, the place where "wrestling matters" turning round and saying "yeah, we don't care about the competition, it's all about the entertainment" after spending months riddying WWE for the same thing, is astounding. The whole point of wrestling is to entertain an audience. TNA would look silly as fuck if Hogan was on mainstream telly going "WE'RE NOT DOING THIS TO ENTERTAIN THE FANS, BROTHER. WRESTLING ISN'T MEANT TO BE ENTERTAINING, IT'S ABOUT COMPETITION!" He's trying to sell tickets. And everyone knows it's pretend, so do you really think "it's real competition, I promise" is a better sell than "it's an entertaining night out"? Paid Members WWFChilli Posted January 26, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 26, 2012 His interview in the Sun Website was a lot of fun. Hulk talked more about when he used to play music and stuff on that. He also didn't know Big Brother was a popular reality show. Get the fucking Hulk on it Dicky. Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted January 26, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 26, 2012 Good interview with Buncey. If you had never heard of Hulk Hogan before and you didn't know of his tall tails, you'd think he was the most interesting man on planet earth. The bloke doesn't give one word answers. What I've learned in that interview is that he's a "entertainer" who had to really fight so people wouldn't take advantage of him, who cant see in one eye, has no feeling in his hands, had 8 back surguries, a plastic knee and plastic hip, sold out giant arenas in the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s, who cant walk any street because everyone knows who he is due to his recognisable appearance (apart from his new wife of course, who fell for Terrance Bollea), who lost out on the George Foreman Grill and was saved from suicide by Muhammed Ali's daughter. And the interview was only 15 minutes. He's a good storyteller, and his bollocks is obviously targeted to those who aren't familiar with him, to remain his larger than life aura. Because who wants to hear Terry Bollea interviewed? Nobody. Â Good bloke. I like how much he talks shite. Its a charming quality of his. Wrestling needs more people who can capture the imagination of the general public/

Loki
He's such a laid-back dude. Even with all the bull he spins, you can't help but feel sorry for him when he starts talking about his physical condition. I can't believe he took bumps with Sting last year, he should never take a bump again. Â The stuff about being a bassist is true, though, he was a musician before being a wrestler for sure. pgi86
The wrestling legend - who has undergone eight back surgeries - controls the electrical device with a remote control and if he turns up the current high enough it has some interesting side effects. Hulk - who is in the U.K. on the TNA Maximum IMPACT Tour - exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It's an electric stim you know? If the pain in my back is too bad and it goes to my head, there's an electrical current that I can turn on that will cancel out any pain waves, it pretty much makes you so you don't feel the pain. It's not a drug, it's just electricity. I've got like a garage door controller with all these buttons on how intense I want to make it, my nipples stand on end if I want to! And my wiener stands straight. It's much better than Viagra!"  Read more: http://www.ctv.ca/CTVNews/Entertainment/20.../#ixzz1kgtaDvSv
