Repo man got a brand new outfit just before he left too, didn't he?

And I would be the most humongous fan of anybody who ever posts video footage of that gear. The WWF Mag picture of it is all I've ever seen of it...
Is that the singlet with tyre marks all over it?

In reply to the OP, I think Ax not gelling his hair at SS90 was his own thing, I think he was pissed off about being let go, pissed off with Darsow for staying.

They were heading to WCW, according to Eadie, but Darsow changed his mind and the whole thing fell apart. I wonder what would have happened in Atlanta for them.

Yeah, bright white with black tyre marks on it.

WHAT!? Never knew that. Was Eadie not well past it by this point anyway?

I don't really know if it's the same deal but, Lo Down being paired with Tiger Ali Singh and given the ridiculous garb and gimmick and then on top of that the Rumble deal with Drew Carey, not being recognized as talent by security when arriving and refused entry. All making it pretty clear where their futures were headed.

I'm wondering that myself. I've always read that Ax had heart problems which is why they brought Crush in. I don't know how well they would've got over in WCW without the names and facepaint anyway.

I'd heard about the heart problems at the time but its in the RF video shoot. Where Eadie confronts Darsow about feeling betrayed that he decided to stay in the WWF. Demolition in WCW would have been great rather than the mediocre repo man.

Demolition were finished by 1991, though. Without the music and against the likes of the Steiners, Demolition would have looked really, really knackered. Ax especially was past it in the ring, and Smash was suffering badly from hair loss. They'd had their run.

Also Ax tried to use the Demolition name outside the WWF and Vince sent letters to his door. It was a while later that they could claim overship of it.

True as a fan now. But as a kid watching then any familiar wwf star broken down or not in WCW was of interest. Enjoyed JYD at the time for that reason. Plus watching the way Demolition were totally jobbed out on the signing of the LOD after good, loyal work and defending themselves as not being the poor mans Road Warriors is kind of sad to look back on. Who knows even broken down maybe they could of improved their legacy a little. Instead of Smash playing a comedy charchter and Ax pretty much dissapearing. I'm guessing WWF owned the Demolition name and gimmick because they used it after Eadie was gone. But Eadie found another partner and called themselves the New demolition on the independants with the gimmick and when Crush worked the independants he wore the bondage gear and was called crush. Dread to think what WCW would of renamed them.
