ThisIsProgress
Hello  I'd like to make contact with as many UK and European promoters as possible, principally with the aim of sharing knowledge, making the most of overseas talent when they're here, but also just to say hi.  You can get me on progresswrestling@gmail.com, or post here and let me know how to reach you.  As I've mentioned before, the UK scene seems to be very friendly and supportive. Hope to hear from people.  Thanks Jon
ItsClobberingTime
Aren't all the UK promoters on Google if you search for wrestling companies? Â If you're a new startup then I would imagine it's best for you to contact them, rather than asking them to contact you? Â Good luck anyway! ItsClobberingTime
I don't understand why anyone would leave their contact details and expect everyone else to come running to them. Â What do already established promoters have to gain from this? Surely the new guy on the block should be doing the running around?
Paid Members Up Chuck Posted January 14, 2012 Paid Members Share Posted January 14, 2012 Yeah, don't do this here. Wait til there's a collaboration to be done then contact the relevant person. Just like one would in any other business.
tattooedgooner
Having spoke to Jon I can tell you guys that I actually think he is one of the guys that looks like he could get this right. He has a entertainment background and a passion for wrestling and anyone can see his first line up is ace. Â I'm guessing that different entertainment works in different ways so just a tad naive at how the British wrestling industry works. Â I think Progress will be a great success ! ItsClobberingTime
I would suggest in any industry it's better to be pro-active than wait for people to come to you.
