Johnny Gargano posted this on Twitter re his injury

Alright. Here goes.. I'll give you guys a basic synopsis of everything that went down with my injury. On January 1st I wrestled a show in WV.. I sorta tweaked my back/pelvis in that match.. It hurt.. but I figured it'd be alright. It nagged at me for a bit, but I figured it was something I could work through. No big deal. On Saturday.. I don't know.. something just felt weird. My whole body was cramping up. I drank a ton of water, and thought I was just dehydrated. My lower back/abdomen started to swell. Every time I'd stretch or bend forward, a sharp twinge would go down both my legs. Needless to say.. I was scared out of my mind. I KNEW how big the match was, and what I needed to do. I just wasn't sure if my body would cooperate. I briefed Chuck Taylor on the situation and even had him bring out some water to the ring, just in case. It was probably the most nervous/dread I'd ever felt before a match. Not due to the situation.. but due to the uncertainty of my body.

I don't remember much of the match, honestly. I remember that within the first 2 minutes, my legs stopped working. I couldn't feel them. Just walking became a chore. I couldn't raise my legs, or even bend down. The pain was indescribable.. but I knew I couldn't stop. We went 25 more minutes.. and I took A LOT of stupid bumps. Was that a dumb decision? Maybe.. but it's not in my DNA to just give up. The match had a lot of hype, and being put in that spot meant the world to me. My mind was willing, but my body just wasn't capable, sadly.

As soon as the match ended, and the bit of adrenaline I had wore off.. All of my strength was gone. No more walking, no more moving.. just pain. They told me to stay in the ring and wait for medical attention and I remember saying "No! Get me out, there's one more segment. The shows not over, get me out so they can do it". They carried me to the back, and as soon as I went through the curtain, I collapsed.

A lot of thoughts were running through my head. Was I paralyzed? Am I going to wrestle again? I honestly didn't know. I hate hospitals, and needles, but the pain was unbearable. The ambulance came and took me to the hospital (first time I'd ever been in an ambulance, by the way). They put an IV in me (another first).. and filled me up with pain meds, etc. This is where I start to get groggy. Gabe stopped by, but I was already unconscious. They gave me a CAT scan which turned out okay. I randomly started throwing up. Needless to say, not one of my better nights.

I had a flight to catch back home at 9 AM. We decided I should try bear through to make that flight. So I was released, and taken to the airport. A wheelchair met me out front, and wheeled me through security, and to my gate, and onto the plane. That flight.. SUCKED. I can't tell you how much pain I was actually in during that flight. They then met me with another wheelchair, and wheeled me out front where my Dad picked me up and took me home. Where I've been in my bed for 2 days.. and looks to be the case for a while longer. I'm going to make an appointment with a specialist to try to get this sorted out, and see what it is. I'm still in a ton of pain, and walking is still very difficult.

I'd like to Thank EVERYONE for the kind texts, messages, and comments. I'm sorry I haven't replied yet, but I will. EVERYONE in the back that night that stayed by my side, checked on me, and did all they could to help me out. I'm truly blessed to have so many people care about me.

I apologize to anyone that was let down by the match. I really wanted it to be special. Trust me.. no one is more disappointed then I am. I really tried to give you all I had.. unfortunately it wasn't much that night. You deserved better. I'm really sorry.

EVOLVE 4: Danielson vs. Fish (23 July 2010)

evolve4dvd.png

Gabe Sopolsky's concept promotion holds it's 4th show with a main event featuring the just-released Daniel Bryan. This DVD also marks the group's first event outside Rahway, NJ, since EVOLVE 4 comes us us from the ACE Arena in Union City, NJ. My good friends and fellow UKFFers The Mighty LC, Catfish Jake and Rosegarden Funeral attended a show at the ACE Arena once. No, they didn't see EVOLVE, Chikara or DGUSA. Indeed, they went to go and see ACE Wrestling. The ACE Arena was apparently a shit hole then, and first impressions from the DVD of this event seem to suggest little has changed. This place is a tiny little room and makes EVOLVE look even more small-time. A step backwards.

The show itself gets off to a lively start with resident brawlers Jon Moxley and Brodie Lee going to war. Their wild, heated all-out scrap may not fit in with the EVOLVE ethos, but it was sure as hell entertaining while it lasted. Subsequent bouts can't live up to this, though, as a four-way of Ricochet vs. Rich Swann vs. Drake Younger vs. Chris Dickinson, a WSU World Title contest of Mercedes Martinez vs. Tina San Antonio and a tag attraction featuring Hallowicked & Jigsaw vs. Aeroform offer little in the way of substance or excitement. Aeroform in particular, made up of Flip Kendrick and Louis Lyndon, have done absolutely nothing in the half-dozen times I've seen them to make me think anything other than they are one of the worst acts out there in wrestling at the moment.

Rather disappointingly, Sami Callihan was made to look fantastic in a squash victory on then last show, but his follow-up match here against Arik Cannon is long, drawn-out and not particularly interesting.

Naturally, just like the previous 3 DVDs, there are good points on offer too. 'The Whole Shebang' Johnny Gargano, one of the stand-outs in EVOLVE so far, continues to look good in an enjoyable encounter with Adam Cole. I saw Cole looking completely lost and rather bemused on an All Star Wrestling show in York about a year ago, but he plays his EVOLVE role of ambitious young rookie very well. Similarly, Up In Smoke put in their best EVOLVE showing to date, taking on fellow Chikara team The Osirian Portal in a really solid, well-paced and entertaining tag affair. In addition to this, the wins vs. losses aspect of EVOLVE finally starts to make an impression as the fight records of Jimmy Jacobs and Chuck Taylor sees them pitted against each other with a spot at the top of the leaderboard at stake. These are two of EVOLVE's most popular stars and the fact that they are actually fighting for something of importance that you fully understand allows the match to have a real competitive edge and takes on an interest in a way that other bouts in the promotion haven't been able to. The action is hot as they fight over the crucial win, and this all makes for a terrific clash.

In keeping with previous EVOLVE shows, the main event of Bryan Danielson vs. Bobby Fish is a corker. The wins-losses element also plays a huge part in why this one works, since they've told an interesting story with Fish over the first few shows where he has put in impressive showings but currently sits 0-3. He desperately needs a win to realistically stay alive in the promotion. Danielson, fresh from his first WWE run, obviously comes in a huge favourite, but also has no wins in the promotion so the match-making makes sense. Most of this one sees 'American Dragon' slowly, meticulously and at times aggressively picking Fish apart with strikes, stretches and holds, but brave Bobby refusing to stay down or give up, his gutsy performance pushing Danielson further than anyone expected and making his name. It makes for completely engrossing, almost mesmerizing viewing. An excellent match, and a fabulous way to bring the DVD to an end.

Another show very much in what is becoming an established EVOLVE formula. The udnercard is a very mixed bag of positives and negatives, but the good stuff is definitely worthwhile and the main events are among the best on the indies right now.

In watching this DVD, I'm actually now further ahead in EVOLVE than any other promotion I follow...

EVOLVE 5: Danielson vs. Sawa (11 September 2010)

evolve5dvd.png

"Every match has a consequence, and results are never forgotten" states the now-standard introductory video opening to this, EVOLVE's fifth DVD release. A noble principle, that they've had mixed results in trying to get over so far. It is starting to bed in, though, so we'll see how it has an impact on this, the promotion's return to Rahway, NJ. This is an afternoon show, presumably due to ROH's 'Glory By Honor IX' taking place just down the road that same night.

Evidence that fight records still aren't actually that important seems to come early, as EVOLVE wins leader and winning streak leader Chuck Taylor, who is realistically the equivalent of 'champion' under this concept, is nowhere near the main event and instead takes on 0-0 Mike Quackenbush in the opening contest. Hmmm. They later explain that this was supposed to be the semi-main event, but was demoted due to Taylor complaining to management. Erm, okay, but how is anyone supposed to know that before you've already devalued your whole concept to them?! This forgettable 10-minute match is nowhere near as good as some of Taylor's previous EVOLVE efforts, but is decent enough while it lasts. Equally acceptable-but-unremarkable is Up In Smoke vs. Aeroform, before the show starts picking up with an engaging little encounter between Jimmy Jacobs and Adam Cole. This one has an interesting set-up of crafty veteran vs. rookie newcomer, making for good watching.

Sami Callihan vs. Drake Younger starts off intense, aggressive and exciting, and this is easily the best match I've ever seen Younger in, but it drags on too long as they try to hard to blatantly create a 'STRONG STYLE EPIC' and I'd lost interest by the mid-way point. Following this, a 6-way featuring Johnny Gargano, Jon Moxley, Gran Akuma, Frightmare, Rich Swann and the completely useless Brad Allen is, expectedly, a total spotfest, but the nature of the match does let them get away with it. It manages to stay the right side of the ridiculous and is fast-paced, entertaining fare. Interestingly, a fresh-from-TNA Homicide shows up after the match and gets into some verbals with both Gargano and Moxley.

After battering jobbers in nondescript matches on the first 4 shows, Mercedes Martinez is finally tested in a worthwhile match against Amazing Kong, now Kharma in WWE. The match is able to avoid the usual pitfalls of women's wrestling by the fact that these two work more of a physical, hard-hitting style. It's nothing spectacular, but it is most definitely decent. Next up, Ricochet takes on Kyle O'Reilly in a bout which commentator Lenny Leonard tells us is "a classic example of the boxer versus the puncher". Lenny's fantastic insight aside, this is mostly a really good scrap that combines slick mat wrestling with logical high-flying, before they lost me on the closing stretch when they resorted to the indie-rifficly silly head-drop/no-sell/head-drop/near-fall/polite applause/repeat sequences. Sigh.

Once again, the focal point of the DVD is the showcase main event, this time pitting Bryan Danielson (who had returned to WWE by this point, I believe, but was still finishing up his indie bookings) against the returning Munenori Sawa. No doubt about it, this is a superb bout, offering an enthralling blend of BattlArts/UWFI-style strikes n' submissions and the more traditional elements of pro wrestling, all performed with terrific personality and character. Easily one of the best matches I've seen from 2010 so far.

While the EVOLVE undercard again ranges from pretty good and completely unremarkable, the main event could probably be considered essential viewing and is worth picking up this release for in its own right. There are gradually becoming fewer matches on the cards, which means we are seeing less of the pointless rushed mess of earlier shows, and they've managed to keep my interest for the next event, which can only be good.

I didn't actually review the first 3 EVOLVE shows, but can reprise my reviews of show 4 onwards here...

EVOLVE 4: Danielson vs Fish - 23/7/10

Jon Moxley vs Brodie Lee - A better outing for Moxley than his debut vs Drake Younger at EVOLVE 3, as he and Brodie Lee have the beginnings of a war in and around the ring. The match is thrown out just before the 6:00 mark though, as both men enter the ring with chairs. This is to emphasise that EVOLVE won't feature that sort of thing, and set up a future angle for Mox, from what I've seen on t'internet...

Chris Dickinson vs Rich Swann vs Ricochet vs Drake Younger - Another six minuter, this one is a fun enough bout. Dickinson is on the verge of breaking his 0-3 losing streak by making Ricochet pass out to a choke when Younger blasts Swann with the Drake's Landing and scores the pin instead.

Mercedes Martinez vs Tina San Antonio - Martinez wins again, and this time the bout goes a whole 2:15. A video then plays where Amazing Kong accepts her challenge for a match by tearing up and eating a picture of her. Mmm, delicious.

Adam Cole vs Johnny Gargano - I was liking the idea of this one in theory, but the match falls way below expectations, sadly. Gargano's EVOLVE character seems to be that he lacks mental focus, and that's how the match plays out. A half-speed Malenko-Guerrero sequence is followed by Cole countering the Hurts Donut with a victory roll for the pin at 8:30. Afterwards, Jimmy Jacobs comes out to take the piss out of Gargano and/or come on to Cole, which is weird as Jacobs is playing up the question of his sexuality here when he was trying to play it down at the end of EVOLVE 3. The end result is Cole challenging Jacobs to a match at EVOLVE 5, which should be better than this.

Hallowicked & Jigsaw vs Aeroform - This is just OK, as Aeroform get more than their share of offense and most of it looks like a badly choreographed dance routine. The CHIKARA unit turn it on at the end and score a pin in 6:40.

Sami Callihan vs Arik Cannon - A decent, hard hitting encounter here, but with some things you only get in indy wrestling because they are ridiculous. The obvious standout of those is a mid-match exchange of exploder suplexes on the floor to set up a bunch of no-selling, then a countout tease. This match overall is about as good as you get if you want a solid mid-card match on an indy show and you can't book ROH talent. Sami wins with the Stretch Muffler at 13:54 to go 2-0.

The Osirian Portal vs Up In Smoke - This is better than the earlier tag match on the show by a distance, but nothing too great. Up In Smoke win with a nasty looking flying knee/powerbomb combo at 11:44.

Chuck Taylor vs Jimmy Jacobs - A battle of two undefeated wrestlers for the top position on the EVOLVE leaderboard, the booking would suggest this should be the main event but obviously that wasn't going to happen here. Being the semi-main probably lets this one down, as they get considerably less time (12:03) and never quite reach top gear. They do get to push their finishers, as Taylor manages to avoid Jacobs' choke (which actually is referred to as End Time for once) and hit the Awful Waffle for the pin to go 3-0 and drop Jacobs to 3-1. A reasonable effort.

Bryan Danielson vs Bobby Fish - A Danielson tour-de-force here, the only problem with that being that Bobby Fish is dominated for the majority, the crowd have no interest in his survival or attempted comebacks, and he has no chance of winning. There's plenty to enjoy as Danielson just dissects Fish, predominantly focusing on the leg, but it's not exactly a competitive match. Fish makes it to 20:39 before being forced to tap to a painful looking ankle hold. A good exhibition of what Danielson has to offer, but not much more.

Overall - EVOLVE 4 was a notable improvement on 2 and 3 in some ways, with the smaller, yet full building providing a better atmosphere, but the in-ring action didn't quite deliver as I hoped. Some of the booking looks encouraging, at the very least. DVD run time is 2 hours, 18 minutes. That's less than the average you'd get from ROH, with an above-average 9 matches, though the DVDs are cheaper... you have to wonder if giving 2-3 selected matches a little longer would make the undercards of these shows more valuable. Still, the promotion is only 4 shows old...

EVOLVE 5: Danielson vs Sawa - 11/9/10

Chuck Taylor vs Mike Quackenbush - I knew I was going to be let down a bit by this when I saw it was going on first, as early matches in EVOLVE never go that long. I was proved right, as things still feel like they are getting going when Quack ends Chuck's winning streak abruptly with a roll-up after nine minutes. This is still a solid start to the show, but nothing more.

Up In Smoke vs Aeroform - Another solid but short encounter, Up In Smoke win again to go 3-0 at 7:40. You have to wonder if the tag division in EVOLVE is ever going to get going, Aeroform at 1-4 are glorified jobbers at best, and two of Up In Smoke's victories came against them.

Jimmy Jacobs vs Adam Cole - A good match that makes the most of the eight minutes allotted. Jacobs makes Cole look like a bitch in his post-match interview, though. Jacobs becomes wins leader at 4-1 with the Contra Code.

Sami Callihan vs Drake Younger - Surprisingly, this one gets more time (13:02) and is a real solid, hard hitting battle from the get go. Sami gets busted open, and almost gets the win with the Stretch Muffler, but goes down to the Drake's Landing in the end as Younger wins the batttle of the 2-0 records, taking himself to 3-0 as Sami falls to 2-1. I liked this.

Brad Allen vs Johnny Gargano vs Gran Akuma vs Jon Moxley vs Frightmare vs Rich Swann - An alright 8:36 spotfest, made better by a botch, believe it or not. Brad Allen embarrasses himself with a major failure to do a springboard crossbody, and after that the crowd are pleading with him not to try any advanced moves ever again, which is hilarious. Gargano gets the most moments that make him look good, and steals a pin on Frightmare to go 3-2. He then proclaims himself the baddest man on the planet, and out comes Homicide, who then has a confrontation with Jon Moxley that leaves you wanting more. I've already seen the E6 post-match angle, and am intrigued enough to want to see the Homicide vs Moxley match...

The second half starts with Moxley coming back out to challenge Brodie Lee, who is suspended due to the events of E4, to a rematch. That's not happening in EVOLVE any time soon, as Mox is facing Austin Aries in his last match in this promotion before WWE at E7...

Mercedes Martinez vs Amazing Kong - This one is going along fairly well, I guess, but ends abruptly with a terrible DQ finish as Kong kicks the ref at 7:20. You have to wonder what the point of any of the Martinez matches in EVOLVE has been after this. We later see her interact backstage with Homicide, and even in kayfabe she makes the point that the DQ win wasn't what she wanted.

Kyle O'Reilly vs Ricochet - These two step up here given the semi-main spot, assembling a really satisfying grappler vs flyer bout. Ricochet is able to use his speed to counter most of O'Reilly's bigger strikes, then hit the 630 for the mild upset at 15:16. Both guys go to 2-2 as a result. Very nice effort.

Bryan Danielson vs Munenori Sawa - A cracking battle of wrestling and striking, with Danielson getting massive reactions throughout but the crowd also appreciative of Sawa. Nothing much else to say really, other than I would have liked a bit more match. Danielson nails Sawa with three roundhouse kicks to the head then forces him to tap to the Lebell Lock at 13:52. If this had been on an ROH show in 2009, it'd have been last match of the first half, not main event.

Overall - EVOLVE's best overall show to date.

EVOLVE 6: Aries vs Taylor - Union City, NJ - 20/11/10

Drake Younger vs Silas Young - Gabe must be having a laugh here, Young vs Younger? The match is alright, with a fair amount of impact for a sub-ten-minuter. The finish is a bit of a surprise, as Younger has had increasingly impressive victories in reaching 3-0 but falls to the headstand arabian press of Young at 8:58 to improve Silas to 1-1.

Rich Swann vs AR Fox vs Tony Nese vs Scott Reed - This is basically a bunch of moves and no story at all between a bunch of debuting guys and the 0-1 Swann. Fox nearly gets a face full of ring steps when he tries a kick flip off the ringpost and fails big time inside the first two minutes, but rallies and pins Reed with an Air Raid Crash at 6:37. Reed throws good punches. That's all...

Kyle O'Reilly vs Bobby Fish - A more than satisfactory rematch from the opening match in EVOLVE history here. Lots of MMA influence, especially early on, with more traditional suplexes and stuff later on. It's nice when EVOLVE gives undercard matches time, rather than rushing through everything. Fish gets his win back - and his first win in EVOLVE - with a combination of knees and a spinning heel kick at 14:23. Sadly all three parts of that combo were a bit messy looking, but otherwise this was all good.

Up In Smoke vs The Super Smash Brothers - This is a fun, spotty tag team encounter, but Up In Smoke's advance to 4-0 with their win here hasn't exactly been a path of glory. In other words: EVOLVE's tag division is shit. This match is alright, though. Player Uno is pinned by a double stomp/Code Red combo in 10:58.

Homicide vs Jon Moxley - Well, this is certainly different. Quite why EVOLVE would randomly sign a relaxed rules match when the promotion has veered towards the real sports feel remains a mystery, however.

Anyway: Homicide and Mox have a crowd-wide brawl in this one, which is about as good a way as any to cover for Homicide's tendency for the dull in his post-TNA return to the indies. In between this, Mox works/batters the long-term bad shoulder of 'Cide. Once they eventually get back to the ring, Moxley continues to work the shoulder with a Fujiwara armbar, then at the end counters a Cop Killa with a chickenwing and wraps Homicide tightly. The ref gives 'Cide an extended period to try and get out of the hold, and when he fails, calls a stop to proceedings at 19:54.

In an extended post-match angle (which I originally saw online a few months back), 'Cide is irate at losing without giving up, kicks the ref and then batters Mox with an array of things, most notably a fork and a screwdriver. During all this, Moxley refuses to fight back, instead being content to tease Homicide about how he'll be fined and suspended, how he should learn the rules and, most importantly, how he won the match and 'Cide lost. This is interesting for the most part, but feels out of place in this promotion to say the least.

Unfortunately, the next thing we're presented with is an angle with the interminable Larry Dallas, who announces he's going to be the sponsor for some EVOLVE athletes, starting with Chuck Taylor. Most of the things presented in EVOLVE outside the matches have been really bad, and this was no different.

Ricochet vs Adam Cole - The first section of this match is a mess, and that's putting it politely. Thankfully, after taking a few minutes to click the match does pick up nicely in the second half. At this point, Ricochet doesn't seem to have developed as well as I keep hearing about, but I guess I have plenty of DGUSA to catch up on which could change my opinion. Ricochet moves to 3-1 with a pump handle into a twisty driver thing in 14:37. Yes, I'm really settling with that as a description.

Jimmy Jacobs vs Johnny Gargano - This one isn't a brilliant match in an athletic sense, but the story of Gargano being more Jacobs' equal than back at EVOLVE 2 is played pretty well, and there's a couple of crazy spots. The first comes early when Jacobs parks Gargano on top of the guardrail, then dives from inside the ring to spear him into the crowd. Later on, they both end up on the top rope in neighbouring corners, so use the ceiling to help them walk the top rope then have a kicking duel. Much to the chagrin of the crowd, Gargano scores the pin by rolling through the Contra Code at 15:30 to send both men to 4-2. Larry Dallas (sigh) then comes back into the ring to announce that Gargano is the second athlete he's sponsoring. Great. At least Jimmy Jacobs gets some heat back at the expense of the pointless Reby Sky afterwards...

Before the main event we get a glimpse backstage at Jon Moxley, who is happy with his win and following the rules but also checking if he can still feel by using a staplegun on his leg and pliers on his little finger. The latter especially made me cringe.

Chuck Taylor vs Austin Aries - Unlike some of the other matches on the show, this one starts out very well. Aries looks particularly motivated, and there's a good sense of dislike between the two, with Aries not liking Taylor's "poor college student attitude". Sadly, the match doesn't live up to the potential of those opening minutes, at least somewhat due to Chuck injuring his shoulder part way through. It's still solid, it just lacks any spark in the second half. Aries gets the kick to the head-brainbuster-Last Chancery combo for the submission win at 22:19.

The show ends with some more backstage stuff. First thought is: the ACE Arena is a dive. Homicide and Drake Younger decide to go out for drinks, while Adam Cole wonders if he belongs in EVOLVE. Then, Silas Young confronts Johnny Gargano, as "one drink" after EVOLVE 1 seemingly lead to Silas falling off the wagon for 10 months. O-kay then.

Overall - not a terrible show, but pretty much a standard indie effort, and not a patch on EVOLVE 5. DVD run time is a worthy 2 hours, 49 minutes, and there's also a hilarious extra where Munenori Sawa faces some Power Rangers cast-offs on the streets of NYC(!)

As an aside - It doesn't look good for EVOLVE in 2011 tbh - I'll probably buy E7 for Zack Sabre Jr vs Sami Callihan, but the fact Cole and O'Reilly are done after this (you have to wonder if Gabe knew it was coming as both lost here) and Johnny Gargano/Larry Dallas seem to be getting the big push depresses me.

EDIT: EVOLVE 7 and 8 reviews will appear in this thread when I watch EVOLVE 9. I was right when I originally wrote that last bit, though - only 3 shows from EVOLVE in 2011, and one of those was a masssive bomb..

News!

January 23rd: In major breaking news, DGUSA Champion Johnny Gargano will be unable to make this Friday's "Open The Golden Gate" event in Los Angeles due to the back injury he suffered at EVOLVE 10 just over a week ago. We apologize for this cancellation. However, just added is Low Ki in his DGUSA debut! On top of it, Ki will face the former DGUSA Champion BxB Hulk in a first time ever match. This could main event any show. Tickets are now available at WrestleReunion.com and the live iPPV can be pre-ordered at WWNLive.com.

January 23rd: As you probably know, BxB Hulk was originally supposed to face off with Sami Callihan this Friday. When word got to Callihan and AR Fox that there would be a lineup change, both immediately contacted the DGUSA office and demanded a match against each other. After EVOLVE 10 this will be intense. In fact, we don't expect Callihan or Fox to follow the rules. This Friday in Los Angeles will be AR Fox vs. Sami Callihan in an Anything Goes Match.

January 23rd: The Young Bucks of Nick & Matt Jackson will now face Chuck Taylor & Rich Swann of Ronin in a straight tag team match. This could steal the entire show!

Ah I getcha. That's probably the best thing to do in an awkward situation like that, but I feel very few are afforded the privilege to be truly an independent worker, as if you don't sign you won't get booked and if you sign with one group you have declared you are on "that" side. But the the bucks are in a spot where they are popular and in demand, with 3 of the biggest Anerican indies (PWG, ROH and DG:USA)

I don't wanna re-open that can of works on this matter btw chaps.

Also make it the main 4 US indies if they wrestle in Chikara (don't really follow it)

Edit due to amazing spelling!

CIMA & Ricochet over Yokosuka and Mochizuki to retain Open the United Gate belts. Match went around 45 minutes. After the match BxB Hulk attacked the chamnps, but Lo-Ki made the save. Lo-Ki cuts rambling promo (apparently)

Huh? BxB Hulk attacked the champs (CIMA and Ricochet) aren't they all in Blood Warriors?

Just double-checked this, and apparently Tozawa and Hulk attacked CIMA and Ricochet after the main event. A few other notes nicked from 411 :

- They asked Paul London to be Rich Swann's replacement, but he had a prior engagement. Management not happy with Swann for missing his flight

- Lo-Ki watched all the matches in the lcoker room to give advice to younger wrestlers [presumably advice on how to job without a fuss not forthcoming]. CIMA vs Lo-Ki rumoured for Mania weekend.

- Johnny Gargano to return to training next week after his back injury at EVOLVE 10

- DG:USA working on a third date for Mania weekend.

- Apparently WWE are interested in several DG:USA talents
