Herts & Essex Wrestling Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 After causing a major upset on December 17th at HEW's Christmas Spectacular by defeating The Longest reigning HEW Champion of All Time Rowdy Ricky Knight, The New HEW Champion Sam Knee has yet to comment on his title win, however due to contractual obligations he must now defend the title against The Number One Contender, The Norweigen and WAW European Champion Aron Frost. Considering these two are long time friends this match will be very interesting indeed, will One Half Of The Devils Playboys retain the title he won "fair and square" as said be some or "by fluke" by others? or will it result in a new HEW Champion in Aron Frost? and will the result change the two men's friendship? So many questions go into this one, especially as one side of the main event has not spoken publically since winning the title itself. however your Main Event at New Year Showdown will be..... BritFan Posted February 5, 2012 Share Posted February 5, 2012 Danny Blaze beat Brett Meadows  Scott Fusion beat Lee Mitchell  Solomon beat Ricky Knight  Hooligan Zak Knight beat Chuck Cyrus  Erik Isaken (after attacking Aron Frost) beat Sam Knee for the HEW Championship  Tag team title match was made for Harlow; Danny Blaze & Steve Corino vs. Sam Knee & Brett Meadows  Hit and miss show; fans were offered to see Isaksen vs Knee but every fan cried out "no" and meant it but were forced to watch it anyway Shame to not see Frost in action. Fusion, Cyrus and the two Knights were a pleasure to watch and highly entertaining. There were one or two negatives but I don't really want to to slate anybody or create a negative vibe.
