Paid Members Halitosis Romantic Posted December 15, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted December 15, 2011 I've heard about some Sting arrogance before he got saved, but shit, he's awesome, why shouldn't he be arrogant?
Merzbow
Undertaker? I was tempted to say The Rock but i guess he rubs people the wrong way with just how good he is.  I've never been a fan of Taker for one but I know I'm in a small minority there. From a fans perspective I think HBK seems to be universally appreciated.  I can't say i've ever been a fan of Shawn, he's always came across as a right prick as a face as well as a heel , although, he was better after the comeback but i can't say i've ever rooted for him. Paid Members air_raid Posted December 15, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted December 15, 2011 Sting's fucking lovely. I remember hearing someone relatively low on the food chain got a big win (I think it was Prince Iaukea upsetting Bill Regal for the TV title on Nitro) and when he went backstage a few of his mates were there congratulating him and also Sting who stuck out a bit among the opening match talents. He always respected the boys that were there for him in his formative years - Flair acknowledged of course on TV that the Stinger was in tears when Uncle Arn was cutting his retirement speech. Plus he sticks by his mates - he always stayed loyal to Lex Luger despite the latter gaining a reputation among others as a bit of a cunt. Â Yes, everybody loves Sting. I'm not sure but I think something similar might of happened with Sting when Hugh Morrus won the United States title near the end of WCW. One that comes to mind would be Crash Holly perhaps. Anyone I talk too who watched back in the day always has fond memories of his hardcore title run and the 24/7 comedy bits.
