I thought I got away with changing the sub-heading when I put the final scores in the original post on Monday morning when this thread was safely tucked away on page 2 of Off Topic. Then cheetah had to go and bump it to express his dismay at not noticing it in time to get his picks in, which might have left people with the impression I'd correct the table, but it was in fact only updated a few hours ago.

Bit of a tough round overall anyway, with only TUFCfan and El Espanacas getting into double figures, the former somewhat making up for missing the Saturday games last week. As you might expect, there wasn't much movement though steve did plummet a few places and joining him as lowest scorer was sivy, who again allowed the gap at the top to be closed by 2 points.

Of the cup ties, Stevenage's ultimately comfortable win in the early kick-off proved the most fruitful, even if the scoreline flattered them according to reports. It also sounds like it was a bit harsh on Chelmsford and Salisbury not to have won, but they now face tough away replays and their results were not as useful for FPL participants. The worst of the lot came at Kenilworth Road, where a staggering number of players thought Luton, not doing as well as they should be in the 5th tier, would get something against Cheltenham, a division higher and going for promotion. Unsurprisingly the Rubies picked up their 8th away victory on the bounce, with a 4-2 margin that nobody got exactly right.

Virtually everyone got both EPL results correct, although no-one quite managed three points from Wigan-Arsenal. On the continent, the Spanish matches were mostly good for at least a point each, but Roma being beaten so comprehensively in Florence was hard to foresee, as was Inter's continued slump.

Should be a bit more of an interesting round starting in a few moments, with the return of D2D and of course, Real on the card for the 2nd week running for a little low-key fixture called El Cl
