Paid Members Chilly McFreeze Posted December 5, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted December 5, 2011 The theory of one species transforming into another species is what I don't believe personally. Â Why? Argument from Incredulity doesn't count as a valid reason by the way.
Paid Members Duke Posted December 5, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted December 5, 2011 Duane, what do you think happened? I am aware you're not a scientist and so don't intend to pick apart that side, but I'm genuinely curious as to what you think happened and how it totally dismisses accepted scientific fact? Moderators Astro Hollywood Posted December 5, 2011 Moderators Share Posted December 5, 2011 What's incredible is that it's not even your regular "evolution ain't true" fuckwittery, where they're denying it because of silly religious reasons. He's disbelieving in it solely because believing in what everyone else does would make him a sheep.
Paid Members Surf Digby Posted December 6, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted December 6, 2011 By believing in evolution it could be argued it stunts our evolution spiritually... I haven't decided whether I think there's a god but I believe there is a creation force beyond our current level of understanding manipulating things. I also believe humanity and life on Earth is a huge experiment, how about that for ya? If there's something manipulating us, then free will and "out the box thinking" are myths.
