- Skip Sheffield competed in his first match in over a year at Saturday's Raw live event in Sunrise, Florida, defeating Alex Riley. The former Nexus member had been sidelined since breaking his leg and ankle on August 18, 2010 at a Raw live event in Honolulu, Hawaii. He underwent a third surgical procedure in June and vowed that it would be his last.

I'm looking forward to seeing what is done with him. He was a beast back when he was in The Nexus.

Great news. Hopefully Vince still has a hard on for him and pushes him like he's the next big thing. He's one scary looking bloke.

We didn't really get to see a great deal of him while he was in Nexus and he had a bit of an idiot gimmick in NXT. Can Sheffield actually wrestle?

Doesn't really matter if they book him the right way. Henry isn't very good at long matches, but paced well enough etc, he looks like a beast.

Hopefully he still uses his big lariat as a finisher.

Indeed but Batista wouldn't have been able to get away with his gimmick if he couldn't Wrestle. Is Skip better than other musclebound jacked up wrestlers such as Mason Ryan and Rob Terry?

Nexus was doomed the moment Skip Sheffield got injured. He was their presence. He made them a threat.

Once he (and Tarver ) fell out of the picture, we were supposed to believe that the entire locker room was running scared of Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel. Even in the wacky world of WWE, that was too much of a stretch.

Chris Masters just announced on his Twitter that he'll be taking part in TNA's India project later this month.

India project? Whats that?

A brand new wrestling TV show that is being taped later this month in India. It will be airing only in India. It's owned by TNA Entertainment but it will not be utilising the TNA name. It's completely separate from the main TNA brand. Jeff Jarrett's running it. Dave Lagana and Dutch Mantell are part of the booking team. Sonjay Dutt is involved as well. Savio Vega and Nick Dinsmore are the trainers/agents.

The roster is expected to be a mixture of recognisable names, indy wrestlers and local Indian talent (who they signed a while back and who are currently being trained by Dinsmore and Vega). Masters is the first name that has been officially confirmed. No word who else will be on it.
