SmackDown used to be on UPN, when that was still a broadcast channel.

If my memory isn't letting me down, SmackDown started out on UPN. When the UPN & WB broadcast TV networks merged to form the CW, it continued on there until the late noughties when myNetworkTV, another broadcast TV network at the time (ironically set up to accommodate stations which were ex-UPN or WB and whose affiliation did not transfer over to the CW) took on the programme for two years. But poor ratings in general for mNTV  shows meant it stopped being a TV network and they dropped SmackDown which in turned moved to SyFy and hence away from broadcast/over-the-air TV and on to "basic cable" like Raw. With SmackDown moving to the Fox TV network it means it is a real return to broadcast/OTA TV after a number of years. I wonder if they'll do any crossovers? I think it would be fun seeing Sheriff John Bunnell from World's Wildest Police Chases do some guest commentary.

Earlier this year, fans witnessed two different Royal Rumble pay-per-views with the traditional Royal Rumble event taking place in January before WWE debuted the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia back in April. Several weeks later, it is being reported that the company could be repeating this once again for WrestleMania. According to Jon Fisher of Barn Burner, WWE is planning to host two WrestleMania events in one year by 2020. The first WrestleMania will continue to be held in late March/early April while another event will be broadcasted in October each year. Areas such as London, Saudi Arabia, and Australia were named as possible locations for the planned WrestleMania show in October.

Saw this earlier, one way of getting Mania to the UK I suppose, give them a watered down version in October!

Probably nonsense but still, I thought Mania might turn into a two night event in April as theres just far too much going on for a single event nowadays with everyone having to appear on the show for some reason.

I’m almost certain I was watching throughout her entire run, yet I can’t remember a single thing Kaitlyn has ever done. Was she any good?

There was a surprisingly very good match between her and AJ when she dropped the Divas title.

Yeah, this was discussed on the previous page in this thread. Awful idea.

Sorry completely missed that.

It really is daft isn't it, maybe its age/tiredness and although you can't argue with WWE's financial numbers, some things that I watch on the show or read just completely baffle me.

Joey Axl, who appeared on 5 Star Wrestling's short lived TV show, has been dropped by pretty much every company he did/was set to work for.
Have no idea what is going on but sounds like serious stuff.

Search for his name on twitter there's a few people talking about what he's been up to.

Nobody is saying anything direct on Twitter, other than Ospreay who called him a 'scumbag'.

Oh well, he's Australian isn't he? Whatever it is he's done to apparently fuck up his career over here no doubt he can go back over there and work.

A quick Twitter search showed me that pictures from his phone were leaked to a porn forum and that some of the girls were underage.

Dis like someone’s reply to Ospreay asking if Axl refuses to join in the bullying of someone who said they were sexually assaulted.

Wrestling!

Ah, okay I missed that! Shit!! Heavy stuff!

Ospreay was a smidge of a tit regarding that situation as it had nothing to do with him and certainly didnt need to be said on Twitter,  but I do see your point.
