TAG TEAM CLASSIC PARTICIPANTS ANNOUNCED

An announcement has been made regarding the three teams that will be joining the Best Around in the Tag Team Classic this year, though the actual semi-final matches will be drawn live on the night.

The Christ Ryders

The team of "Rank Outsider" Robbie Ryder and Adam Christ is a force to be reckoned with in the IWF, Christ being a 2-time former IWF UK Champion and Ryder holding both North East and Tag Team Titles in the past. With both Christ and Ryder coming off major wins from October (Ryder defeated Micky L in the main event and Christ defeated Martin Kirby) momentum would certainly appear to be on their side going into this grueling tournament. Another point to consider, with the final being a Ladder Match, would this favour a team with the speed of Robbie Ryder and the Hardcore ability of Adam Christ?

The Hall Of Fame

The Team of Jed Masters and Hot Ed are both also outstanding individual wrestlers who seem to have struggled to find their stride as a team. Jed Masters is one of only 2 Grand Slam Champions in the company's illustrious history but some argue the chemistry has not quite been there with Hot Ed as the team haven't managed to notch up a victory since their return to the IWF. None will dispute the fact that this is a very dangerous unit however, and if they do get in synch with one another, they could easily go all the way in this tournament.

Los Aviadores

The relatively unknown team of El Valiente and Prodigio would certainly class as the underdogs in this tournament. Very little is known about them but maybe that will work to their advantage. In their previous match, they pushed the Best Around to the limits in a title match and only lost after Lucas Marvel was able to use the ropes for leverage out of the referee's sight. Los Aviadores will be itching to come back from this loss but are they ready up to the challenge of the other teams?

All will be revealed on December 2nd, more still to be announced.

BREAKING NEWS

Lucas Marvel, one half of the Tag Team Champions, Best Around has had to withdraw from the Tag Team Classic due to an injury. With just over a week to go until the Classic, the IWF Championship Committee has had to call an emergency meeting to decide the future of the Tag Team Championships though they state that the tournament "will go ahead regardless". Max Heat was unavailable for comment at this time but any further updates will be announced when we have them.

IWF North East Championship Match

Brett Eagle © vs Kitty Morgan

Following on from the events at our previous show when Brett Eagle turned on Kitty Morgan during a tag team match, these two will lock up in a match for the North East Title. At the relaunch show, all IWF Championships were vacated and Kitty Morgan was forced to relinquish the North East Title she had won at End Of An Era before even her first official defense, Brett capitalised by winning the Title in a brutal Cuffed Chaos match so is unlikely to want to let it go easily. This should be a highly entertaining match featuring two of the great up-and-coming talents in the IWF, both of whom are on a roll and are undefeated since the relaunch.
