Results from last night as follows

Dan Evans pinned Tom Hayden after a spear

Xander Cooper beat Cyanide by DQ after DJ King interfered. This led to a segment where the BWP Tag Titles were scheduled to be defended by Cyanide and King against Vitamin C later in the night

Dean McManus and Ciaran McConnell defeated The Matthews Brothers.

The Babyface Pitbull defeated Marc Morgan via submission with the Canine Clutch

Cyanide and DJ King defeated Vitamin C after a belt shot while the ref was distarcted

Zack "Diamond" Gibson defeated Nigel McGuiness via pinfall in an amazing match

After the show Nigel did a small speech for the crowd to send home happy.

A very good debut show for RCA in a nice little venue , which is ideal for wrestling.

Cant have been more than 50-60 people there. Hopefully they can manage double that for the follow up show

really?

see Thursday he said to me -

''86 pre sales so far , also got about 30 reserves to pay on the door. not bad for 1st show''

So thats strange, plus walk ups I was expecting 130/140?

Sounds more like I been told a load of rubbish, all their posts all week said tickets were flying out and also said only limited tickets left.

They seemed ok too, but if they are bending the truth before they even run then its a sad thing to see.

Oh well, wont be posting in this thread again as dont want to ruin the fact they still run a problem free show. They just need to work on their communication and promotion.

I've just been sent this in regards to the attendance issue

"Just to clarify what has been mentioned above. We did have 86 pre sales, 56 advance tickets and 30 names on the door. Unfortunately a few of the 30 names couldn't make it and two paid ticket holders were unable to make the show due to travel conditions.

We were able to slightly bump the numbers back up with walk up making the official number, 84 sold of approx 145 seats.

Not that that matters as we had a great debut show and are very happy with the result.

Thanks for the Good luck wishes for 2012 Fludder same to you "

I didn't think anyone lied. I'm pretty sure evil dave just cleared up the issue with the attendance. I would say that those people who did attend definatlly got their money's worth and the show was run pretty close to Xmas. I'm sure the next show will be better, with a bigger draw. It was the company's first show and to be honest I've seen shows run a million times worse by companies which have been going for years
