Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted November 4, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted November 4, 2011 Thank fuck we'll never find out, though. I still remember when everyone thought he'd signed in 2005. Dusty Rhodes worked the internet and all the wrestlers on the PPV saying "Abyss has signed for WWE". Then he does a run in on the very same PPV. Madness. That ships long sailed, I imagine though. He has to be in his 60s now.
diamond_dust
To WWE: 1 & 2. Beer Money - WWE needs tag teams and it was either them or MCMG but after a match with Air Boom can't see the guns doing anything.  3. Matt Morgan - After seeing how he can be used properly another shot in WWE wouldn't be the worst thing, especially on Smackdown where a shortage of top name stars and a feud with Mark Henry could make him.  4. Abyss - See Matt Morgan + Abyss can never be taken seriously in TNA thanks to his stint as the clapping retard.  5. Velvet Sky - The Divas division needs more women who can actually wrestle, and while Velvet isn't the greatest in the ring shes passable, has a WWE look and hasn't been there before so would be fresher than Gail, Tara or Mickie.  To TNA:  1. Kane - Has been turned so many times its hard to take him seriously anymore. He's been the monster heel and didn't get anywhere, hes been the good guy vigilante and didn't get anywhere, he's been completely psycho and lost all control of his mind and didn't get anywhere. It looked like they had found a way around that when they put the title on him last time but he beat a midget, fell down the card and went back to being stale.  2. Trent Baretta - Might seem like dropping a WWE reject onto TNA in exchange for one of thier bigger names in this trade but Trent could really shine in the X Division. Wouldn't mind seeing a match with AJ.  3. Ted DiBiase - Doing nothing in WWE and with a less restrictive ring style he might get back to being the guy everyone wanted to see break out in Legacy.  4. Justin Gabriel - See Barretta  5. -John Morrison - Would be an excellent fit in X Division matches but equally as good in the top tier. Theres big fan base for Morrison and it would fit in more with TNA's closer to the attitude era than WWE's PG style. Matches with AJ, Daniels, Lynn and RVD would have match of the night potential and comes with the added bonus of a better chance of getting Melina on the roster for lower pay (think 2 for 1 deal)
TheBigBoot
Abyss the cool one to hate nowadays? Moved on a bit since it was Cena. First he was slagged off for being an amalgamation of masked Kane and Mankind, then he was alright when he was eating barbed wire in matches with Sabu, then every shit on him when he went "mental" and fat(ter). Â Personally, I've never been his biggest fan, was alright to see what crazy shit he would do next, but the last
TheBigBoot
I've thought about this and in keeping with Green's original post about the idea being to benefit both brands I'd go for... Â To WWE: 1. Sting
