CTXRussomark Posted November 9, 2011 Share Posted November 9, 2011 I've heard stories from a policeman mate that he had a retreat in the Scottish Highlands that he only used sparingly and when he wasn't there the rest of the time he left the keys with the Scottish Mountain Rescue unit to use as a store and base for their operations. Yeah, near Glencoe. I just spent a week up there last week. On the drive up we drove past his house and I pointed it out to the others in the car (I've been up before so knew where it was). We got talking about Saville and someone made the comment "oh, I thought he'd been dead for ages". We got into the cottage we were renting about half an hour later and the second we turned the TV on were were met with the breaking news that Saville had been found dead.
