No, not this Des. The other one. Just saw this over at 411mania

- Heartland Wrestling Association out of Ohio has announced that former ROH Champion Nigel McGuinness will return to the ring at their November 12th event in Hamilton, Ohio at the Great Miami Event Center. This will be Nigel's first in ring appearance since the summer of 2010. At that time, he was sidelined with an undisclosed health issue. He was later released by TNA, and returned to Ring of Honor as a part of the announce crew with Kevin Kelly.

I know he's been doing the colour commentary on ROH but glad to hear he's back wrestling again. Hopefully he'll work some smaller dates like this to get warmed up and then return to ROH in an in-ring capacity.

TNA only let him go due to whatever situation was keeping him out the ring. I'd love to see him back on TV, if he's fit enough to compete. Great wrestler and his alliance with Magnus provided some awesome potential to be an entertaining pair. TNA brought back Daniels, so fingers crossed. He had some big fans inside TNA, as well.

He's just now tweeted that 'things are moving on the retirement tour', so I don't think this is a permanent return to the ring.

In other news I tweeted at him yesterday to get himself on IPW's november show in Sittingbourne and he responded 'working on it mate'.. Here's hoping.

Did they get rid of Daniels before due to health reasons? Genuine question, if so I didn't know he had problems (problems aside from failing to portray a character in the ring).

Was gutted to hear about Desmond's retirement, really hope he does make it back. I tuned into Impact to see his debut after the buzz on here and series linked the show afterwards. Very entertaining in the ring and on the mic, his feud with Angle produced some cracking bouts. I think his team with Magnus really could've gone somewhere too and also provided a long-term platform for Magnus to become a star in his own right (which could happen as he has the raw materials there).
