21CW Last Man Standing

SHOW RESULTS

21CW is bringing British Pro Wrestling back to the 21st century.

Pre-show: 21CW held two matches filmed exclusively for their web show debuting in December. Check the site for updates!

Last Man Standing:

Robbie X opened the show issuing a challenge to Bubblegum. After much goading and despite Bubblegum being scheduled for another, crucial match later that night, he accepted the challenge and the match took place there and then. Both men contested an entertaining match with Bubblegum favouring his knee throughout. Robbie X pulled off the win making it one each between the two men since 21CW's revival. O.S.T. then assaulted Bubblegum, focussing on his knee, laughing as they made their exit.

GM Sebb Strife then came out to address the crowd dressed casual rather than in his customary suit. Expressing his destain for the crown he said they didn't deserve to see him wrestle so he was dressed causual as he didn't care and was having the night off. He also gave Brotherhood members O.S.T. the night off so with that and the damage done to Bubblegum, there was to be no 6 man tag match fo El Ligero's career. He was done with 21CW. Sebb then demanded the crowd stand and show respect and applaud Paul Harris of O.S.T. for his upcoming nuptials. The crowd clearly didn't care and booed instead irking the GM further. With that Sebb did not want to give the crowd any more so introduced his Battle Royale with all the participants starting in the ring.

Battle Royale for the opportunity of a title shot any time within 12 months. This must be requested 30 days in advance so no random cash-ins here. Almost 20 men took part with a few quick eliminations until Sebb Strife and O.S.T. came out. The more observant of the fans noticing Sebb had laced his boots before everyone saw him dart into the ring to make some fast eliminations with Paul Harris declaring they wanted to keep the title shot in the Brotherhood. Obviously expecting Matt Slater to win the title later that night... After the melee settled it came down to four men including Sebb Stife who, about to eliminate Sean Dymond was distracted by an all too familiar technicolour sight. El Ligero appeared at ringside and before he knew it Sebb was dumped out of the ring onto his ass. Eventual winner Sean Dymond now has a guarenteed title shot at a time of his choosing.

An exchange between Andy Hogg, Ligero and Sebb then took place which left the GM fuming. Ligero produced a contract signed by someone other than Strife. A contract then tied him to 21CW until 2014 and had a whole host of extras including his own dressing room filled with nachos, guacamole and green m&ms but pehaps more importantly, the contract granted Ligero a match with Sebb Strife in 2012 as well as a opportunity to earn a shot at the title that night. El Ligero was to be the mystery man in the fatal 4way no1 contenders match, a spot Sebb was going to give to himself!

Next up was the 2-on-1 match between Bruce Sheila and the team of 100% Dan Edge and Jay Mustang. A sneaky Dan Edge taking multiple cheap shots on Sheila before interference from Sean Dymond handed the double team the victory. Edge and his followers then taking Sheila apart post-match.

After the break, it was time for the fatal 4way. With all participants now known, the fans were eager for this one to get underway. This match of the night contender showed of each man's talent and provided much excitment and plenty of wow-factor with some comedy involving referee Milky Bell thrown in. An impressive debut from The Great Naga earned him the victory and a title shot against whoever the heavyweight champion is at St Valentines Showdown on 18th Feb 2012.

The Pig Man Andy Hogg debuted his talkshow, The Pig Pen, with inaugural guests Kev Omega & Paul Harris of O.S.T. This heated exchange resulted in the inevitable physicality and brought out the chair-weilding AK Prodigy of Nemesis who dispatched Harris and brawled with Omega. Seeing Omega get on top, GM Strife quickly rushed Milky Bell out, who was still eating his KFC, and made the match official. Unfortunately for The Brotherhood, the match quickly turned and AK Prodigy cam out with the win.

The Young Stud, Jack Hammer vs Valo was next, however Valo immediately called out his 'subordinate' Cyanide Starr to compete instead of him. Not long in and the match decended into anarchy and the GM was forced to make it a triple threat. The bickering and in-fighting between Valo and Starr continued allowing Hammer to pick up the win and Starr sensationally quit 21CW just to get away from Valo.

It was then time for the main event. Matt Slater accompanied by the gorgeous Lisa White and The Brotherhood came out and riled the crowd with a victory speech before the match had even taken place. Bagheera followed with new, remixed music giving him a more intense introduction. Out of nowhere and against Slater's wishes, Lisa White jumped Bagheera and had to be pulled off him. Matt asked that The Brotherhood leave ringside as he wanted to prove he could do it on his own. Sebb Strife, as GM however, stayed at ringside ready to present the championship belt. As you'd expect from a Last Man Standing match, it was a brutal affair and quickly left the confines of the ring as the fight took to the Hall. There were hard hits, high flying and chain wrestling with both men taking advantage of their surroundings to try to hurt the other. Mid way into the match, Slater pulled a 4 iron from under the ring and set out after a downed Bagheera who seemed to be playing possum as he quickly turned the tide and the club on Matt almost knocking him out for a 9 count. Bagheera then ascended onto a high window ledge and hit Matt with a cross body on the outside for another 8 count. Recovering slightly and delaying his opponent, Slater was able to introduce a steel chair into the fray but being a little worse off than Bagheera the weapon was again used against him in the form of something similar to a van terminator. Once he managed to turn the tide once more, the International Superstar scaled the top rope with chair in hand ready to finish off the Jungle Kid but dropped it from his sweaty hands. Rushing over, Sebb Strife tried to hanf the chair back to his Brother but Matt had a sudden attack of conscience and refused the chair but the delay was to prove costly and Bagheera had regained his composure and nailed Slater with a top rope superplex. Both men were down and the fans thought this was heading for another draw. Guts were checked and the match spilled to the outside again and onto the stage where Lisa White re-emerged to distract Bagheera but while he threatened to powerbomb her through the merch table under the stage, O.S.T. appeared to pick Matt up and with the help of Sebb, passed Slater the chair which he used to smash Bagheera over the back and tossed him off the stage through the Brotherhood's merch table. Both men were in a heap but with his Brother's help, Matt remained standing while Bagheera failed to make the 10 count. You have your new champion!

The Brotherhood celebrated in the ring until this was cut short by the music of 'The One and Only' Shane Star who declared it was he who as co-GM re-signed El Ligero and Nemesis. Sebb and The Brotherhood knew nothing of this and could barely contain themselves. A big smile on his face, GM Star informed the crowd that he was the Jedi Master to Strife's Sith Lord and he would be fair and act in the interest of the fans and the company rather than himself. To rubber stamp that he announced 21CW's next show, Back with a Vengeance, on 8th Jan 2012 booking O.S.T. against Nemesis in a Saltaire Street Fight, Bubblegum vs Robbie X one more time and a triple threat main event for the heavyweight title pitting Matt Slater © vs Bagheera vs El Ligero!
