Paid Members DJ Kris Posted October 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted October 18, 2011 I'm really just putting feelers out at the moment. I was layed off from work yesterday so I'm looking at ways to make money. I have quite of lot of experience in designing DVD covers and Posters for that matter, having done EWW's for many years and in the case of DVD's my own custom/convert covers for my own uses.  Is this a service anyone would be interested in paying for and if so what sort of money would you be willing to spend for a design?  Feel free to email me: DJKris2010@aol.com  Here's some examples of my work:  http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1...mp;l=aa72cf5f04
Paid Members IANdrewDiceClay Posted October 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted October 18, 2011 Have to take me hat off for this one. You've got pictures from the correct era. Usually people just plaster out of date photos on a certain date DVD cover. Remember once seeing a WWF Scott Hall on a WCW custom cover. Thats so annoying. Well researched. I've always loved them three photos on the front cover. Reminds me of the period when everyone seemed to be into it.

I've always loved them three photos on the front cover. Reminds me of the period when everyone seemed to be into it. I always try really hard to get the right era photos, it's one of the reasons my Saturday Nights Main Event covers have stalled, I'm struggling for the images I want! Â What I'm particularly proud of here is you'll see I haven't just taken the WWF poster, I've tried as best I can to recreate it using the closest images I could find. I'll also add that I made that logo up from scratch since I couldn't find a high enough res copy. Evidence of this can be seen on my WWF Classic Collections, where I've modified the same logo: Â
Paid Members Ronnie Posted October 18, 2011 Paid Members Share Posted October 18, 2011 There's some really good-looking stuff there, Kris. I particularly like your designs that apply the traditional look to modern releases, such as you've done with Summerslam 09 there and your Wrestlemania covers elsewhere. Thanks, while I'm out of work I'm planning on getting back onto some of these! I have so many WWF/E shows on my PC I need to get off so I really gotta crack on with them while I have the chance! Survivor Series is one for the future too!
BillyWood
Just wanted to add Chris is fantastic at this, really thinks about his designs and always comes up with something that fits the events. Â Some of the sleeves he has showcased here prove he really spends time on it and produces the goods. Â His posters are also as strong, one of my favourites even though very simple was his EWW Tour poster of 2009. Â If I had any events coming up I would use Chris 100%
