Former WWE Star Fit Finlay To Hold Mock WWE Try Outs in UK

What's with the high and mighty attitude of some people around here? Even if you had a tryout, if you could you would go out of your way to do something like this with Finlay. The worst that could happen is he would give you some feedback and perhaps suggest a few little things that WWE look for in a tryout. Wouldn't be anything but positive.

Of course people will likely pass this up so they can have a nice lie in and a good breakfast. Some people.

We can all see that the idea of this is great. You work with finlay, who by all rights is great. he gives you some feedback, which by all means you might need. You get the self satisfaction of thinking you've progressed some how which is great.

The point is, Doing this is great. But to get a more realistic chane of getting noticed by WWE, you could do alot more that costs a lot less. I've mentioned before, just taking you training seriously and attending a professional school will give you just as good a chance to do just as much, as they can give you feedback that you will need.

To get noticed by wwe is a bit harder, but not impossible. Again taking training seriously and progressing to a professional standard, working various shows in the UK/Europe/Etc and training in the gym to look the part is one way. Directly contacting WWE/TNA/ROH and sending them tapes of your work is another, and WWE also will give you feedback IF they are interested.

All the best to VPW and this, but it should be advertised for what it is......a Finlay training session, not a "Mock wwe try-out".

Nobody is surely stupid enough to think 'this alone' will grant them the path to WWE or have anybody at all in WWE look at you let alone find out who you are because of this. It's just a great opportunity.

If your goal is to get noticed by WWE then it's stupid to pass up advice from somebody who has been there and knows all about the developmental/tryout system.

If you have the money, going to a top school overseas, prepared to the max, is going to open up more doors than driving around the UK.

It is called a mock WWE try out, as the idea is to go through the try Out process with the guy who used to hold the try outs, the guy who can tell you exactly what WWE are lookign for. You only get one chance at a 1st impression, so going into a WWE try out with a much knowledge as possible is surely in the best interests of everyone involved wanting to forward them selves in the wrestling business.

Personally I think it's a great idea and a sensible path for anyone currently with or wishing to get a WWE tryout. It's like revising for the final exam. "Fail to prepare - prepare to fail" and for the first time that I'm aware of wrestlers with their first try-out for WWE will get a chance to prepare the right way ahead of their big day.

Finlay who has first hand experience in running WWE tryouts knows much more specific what the WWE look for in their tryouts than all UK pro wrestling schools combined. From what I understand, this is a "pseudo" WWE tryout where the participants will go through tests that are similar to what WWE do at their tryouts, and based on this, Finlay will give advice on how to better your chances of passing a WWE tryout if or when you get one.
