Fog Dude
Norwich City 0 v 3 Swansea City Queen's Park Rangers 2 v 0 Blackburn Rovers (Kean to be sacked after the match) So much for that idea! Anyway, the final scores are now in the first post and the table has been updated here. It was quite a low-scoring week, with three-pointers particularly hard to come by. For that reason there wasn't much movement, though smp did close the gap on sivy by being joint top scorer, an honour he shared with The Ratt who got 3 exact scores. No idea why tom didn't play but he allowed himself to be overtaken by joe mills at the wrong end, while vanhalen slipped a few placed after only managing a solitary point. The most useful results seemed to be the two-all draws at Bramall Lane and St James's on Sunday, along with Huddersfield's win at struggling Exeter in the third tier the day before. The other 5 EPL games all involved potential strugglers, so again draws were the order of the day as far as guessing went, but only Loftus Road provided a stalemate. The Aussie matches were a mixed bag, except for me as they proved fruitful by supplying 2 of my 3 points, but it turns out I misread the name of one of the teams on the league's website. My brain must've automatically assumed a club couldn't have such a lame moniker as 'Heart' and rendered it as 'Heat'. It brings to mind the weakest of the five powers in Captain Planet for those of us of a certain vintage (and who are also very sad). It's been correct in the original post now. Right, that's us done for another round. In a few moments there should be a new thread up, with the return of D2D for someone who could do with a break, and the start of 5 weeks out of 7 that will feature diddy teams in Cup matches. Don't say you weren't warned!
